The Lady Coyotes traveled to Bucksport yesterday and faced a tough team. Rachel M. pitched a good game. Lauren M. had a excellent game behind the plate and combined with Karah to pick off 3 runners stealing to 2nd base and another out on a throw-down to Chelsea at 3rd base. Erica R. had a solid defensive game at 2nd. Hits by Lauren, Rachel, Kristen, Mykala, and Kayla, led to 3 runs but that wasn't enough. The girls lost a tough game 7-3 against Bucksport. Bucksport comes to OT Monday for the rematch. Please come out and support the team.

B Softball vs Orono Results

With beautiful weather comes a close game for the B softball girls who played home last night against Orono. The pitchers, Christine and Brianna, challenged Orono's offense with their improved slow pitch skills. The girls pulled ahead in the third inning 13--11!! Bailey at first base put the pressure on the other team by her impressive catching and throwing skills!! Almost every girl on our team up to bat made it home! Katelyn was a trooper after taking a ball to her side at bat. She might have walked to first base with a bruise but she made sure she made it home... three times! Erica also made it home 3 times! It was an intense game especially with the girls cheering in the dugout. You had to be there!! The game ended 20--28. It might have been a loss but our girl's left with pride and ready for the next challenge. Coach Fuller is impressed with how fast the team has grown and is excited to see how the girls play against Lincoln at home on Wednesday, May 19. Great job! Keep up the hard work!!!  :)

Band Concert-BRAVO!

Congrats to the LMS 6th Grade Band, Concert Band, Drum Line, Symphonic Band,
and Wind Ensemble for a GREAT concert last night! You made us very proud!

Tennis Club 5/12

Just a reminder that Coach Young will be meeting with the Girl's Tennis Club at 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 12th.

On a brutally cold and windy evening in Hampden the lady Coyotes had a fantastic win against a tough team.  Old Town started with 4 runs in the first inning and at the end of 2 innings Old Town was up with a score of 5-2. This score held until the 6th inning when Hampden's bats lit up. At the end of the 6th Old Town was down by 2 runs. The Lady Coyotes showed an incredible amount of character and in horribly cold conditions came back with bats swinging and scored 3 runs in the 7th inning with a 1 run lead heading to the bottom of the inning. With numb hands and feet and brains working a bit sluggishly the coyotes had terrific defense and held the Hampden team to a 3 up, 3 down inning. Coach Cacace is proud of the personal and team character her players showed in tough conditions to continue their 3-0 season. Congratulations lady's on a fabulous win last night.
