Substitute applications are not available online, please pick up a substitute packet in person at the Superintendent’s Office located at Leonard Middle School, 156 Oak Street, Old Town.


Food Service Assistant

RSU 34 Food Service is seeking a Food Service Assistant to work a minimum of two hours/day. Additional hours may be available at various times during the year. The work year consists of all student days plus any other assigned days.
Communication skills, interpersonal skills, work ethic and attitude will be taken into consideration. Candidates must like children and be able to work well with others. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk around on a hard surface and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds safely. Prior experience and Serv-Safe Certification is a plus, but it is not a requirement.

Ed Tech III

RSU #34 seeks candidates that are positive, flexible and willing to learn within a variety of educational settings. Preference will be given to those with prior experience or training in special education.
Qualified candidates would have applicable Maine Department of Education Ed Tech Certification and CHRC (fingerprint and background check).
Additional Information: Qualified candidates should submit a completed non-teaching application, cover letter, resume, transcripts, 3 letters of recommendation and copies of certification to the Superintendent's Office.
