Results of the Raider Challenge Competition at Nokomis High School - 10 May

The Old Town High School Army JROTC Raider Challenge Team competed at Nokomis High School on Saturday the 10th of May, and brought home four trophies out of five events:

 

1st Place – Army Physical Fitness Test (The first time in the history of the Old Town JROTC program)

 

2nd Place5 Kilometer Road March

 

2nd Place – Land Navigation (Orienteering)

 

3rd PlaceOne Rope Bridge Across a Water Obstacle:

Congratulations to all competitors.  The next Raider Challenge competition in this Saturday, 17 May at the University of Maine in Orono.  This will be the final competition of the season.

Intern Opportunity

Congressional Internship:

Interested students may come into guidance to pick up the information for a summer program (Congressional Intern Opportunity in Rep. Mike Michaud’s Bangor Office).

Student interns may earn academic credits for successful participation in the program.
