Scholarship for Juniors

Scholarship Opportunity for Juniors:

 

Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded; one to each of the following grade level groups: K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The goal of the Sea Dogs Scholarship Program is to inspire all students to go to college. Scholarship recipients will be selected prior to the NextGen Field of Dreams game on Sunday, August 31. The scholarship funds will remain in a NextGen College Investing Plan Account until the winning student is enrolled in college.

More paperwork is in the guidance office.

 

New Scholarships

Arthritis Foundation College Scholarship:

Eligible –High School seniors with juvenile arthritis or another rheumatic disease. Application deadline: April 17, 2009. If interested you may pick up information in the guidance office.

 

 

Insurance Professionals of Eastern Maine will be awarding a $250 scholarship to a senior who will be furthering their education in Business. Deadline May 1, 2009. If interested you may pick up paperwork in the guidance office.

 

College Acceptance

Congratulations to Alisha Harris for her acceptance into Eastern Maine Community College, major in the Health Care Secretary Program.

KIWANIS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP (OLD TOWN/ORONO)

Eligible Academic achievement, evidence of financial need, and service to school and community

Amount            Two scholarships in the amount of $1,200 renewable for a second year.

MAINE GRAPHIC ARTS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

Eligible             Student who desires to continue their education in the field of graphic arts printing technology.
