PSAT/College Access/AP Info

Sophomore and Junior Students and Parents

A letter went out recently to inform you about the PSAT/College Access/AP
Info Night we are having on February 22nd at 6 PM in the cafe. This is a
great opportunity to come and learn about how to improve SAT scores, find
out what you need to do to prepare to go on to college, and to find out more
about our Advanced Placement Program.

If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Ketch or Mr. Doty. Snacks
will be provided!!

AP Exams

Students- Deadline for signing up for any AP Exam is March 18th. If you
have not received a red book, please see Mrs. Ketch is the Student Services
Office. The deposit of $13 per test in cash or check should be given to
Mrs. St.Louis in the Student Services office. (checks should be made out to
Old Town High school)

The Balance of $73 is due before you take your exam.

KIWANIS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP (OLD TOWN/ORONO)

Eligible             Academic achievement, evidence of financial need, and service to school and community

Amount            Two scholarships in the amount of $1,200 renewable for a second year.

To Apply          Ask for an application in the guidance office.

PrepMe

Juniors- On Wednesday during ATS, student services staff will be coming
around to give information about the PrepMe program- a free on-line
opportunity to help prepare students for the SAT.

Students will need to sign up by 2 PM on Friday 2/5/10 if they are
interested. See Mrs. St.Louis to Sign up!
