We have been missing our students!! On April 6, students will be starting a more interactive learning plan with their teachers. Your child's teacher will have been in contact prior to that to ensure that you have the necessary materials. Each week, there will be a BINGO board on which students will check off activities. This will serve as an attendance/participation document for our purposes. We hope it will also be fun and motivating for students! At the end of last week, packets went out that included workbooks for work after next Monday. Students will be receiving more directions about the use of those, so please don't allow students to work ahead without instruction. Our plan is to continue to deliver the packets on the buses once a week. If you are not able to get to the bus, the materials may be printed right from our district website at https://www.rsu34.org/covid19--2 or you may let us know and we will put the packet in a plastic tote placed out in front of the school for you to pick up.
The RSU #34 website now has a COVID 19 section. It can currently be found by visiting rsu34.org, clicking on Menu, and then COVID 19. Soon, there will be an easy link to it on the homepage. Do you have the app for the website? If not, visit your app store and get the free RSU#34 ME app.
If your family is in need of food beyond our district’s meal distribution please reach out to email@example.com or call her at 207-370-8564 for more information about the RSU34 Resource Center.
These are crazy times and we are working to figure out what will be the best ways to communicate and help families. Please stay in touch. With riding buses for lunch deliveries, staff working from home more, and some of us in multiple schools, the school doesn't always have someone in the office. Please feel free to keep my cell phone number on hand...944-1444.
Stay well and I keep hoping to see you all back here sooner rather than later!
