🧮 School-Wide Game Boards (anytime this summer)
Game boards were handed out with report cards and are available digitally. There are four versions. K-2 no technology, K-2 technology based, 3-5 no technology, and 3-5 technology based. 🐦School-wide Pigeon Reading Challenge (after July 4th, through the summer)
This challenge was also sent in report cards . Read 3-5 challenges in each section, then go to visit a local business or spot to find Pigeon and your Mystery Word to build a final sentence, then move on to your next set of challenges! Pigeon will be out in these spots after July 4th! All who participate will get a certificate and be entered into a drawing of wonderful prizes (including bikes). 👧 K-2 Weekly Theme Posts (Mondays July 6th-20th)
We will make weekly Monday posts in July on Facebook and our OTES website/app with a theme, video read alouds, and activity ideas for any families who wish to use this resource created by our own staff members. Themes will be: Backyard Fun, Ocean, Bugs, and Storybook.
👨🦱 3-5 Virtual Boot Camp (weekly July 6th-20th)
We will be offering week-long literacy and math virtual boot camps. Teachers included recommendations for student participation in these camps in report cards. 🌱 Farm Stand (each Tuesday 3-6pm)
The OTES Learning Garden is excited to be offering a weekly first come, first serve, free/donation farm stand this season starting June 16th and running through the fall. We'll have fresh local produce available at the garden from 3-6pm on Tuesdays. The farm stand will be located in front of the elementary school and we ask that you maintain 6 feet of distance between other visitors and volunteers. At this time all produce will be pre-harvested and ready for pick-up.Please only handle items that you intend to take. Other fundraising items from the garden club as well as tote bags, seeds and plants will at times be available for cash or check purchase. All proceeds benefit the garden.
