Part-time Ed Tech I - Music Dept

RSU 34 is looking for a part time Ed Tech I to work approximately 10 hours per week assisting in the music program.

The time is split with 8 hours per week at Leonard Middle School and 2 hours at Old Town Elementary School. Duties include clerical work: filing, photocopying, recording musical excerpts, and assisting with creating/posting assignments on google classroom.

Musical knowledge is preferred but not required.

During our hybrid schedule most work can be done remotely. Occasional work in-person may be needed but times are flexible and can be when students are not present. When school resumes as usual this will be an in-person position. This is a one year position.

ED TECH I's & III's 

RSU #34 seeks talented Educational Technicians that are positive, flexible and willing to learn within a variety of educational settings. Preference will be given to those with prior experience or training. Accepting applications for Ed Tech I’s and III’s. 


Qualified candidates would have applicable Maine Department of Education Ed Tech Certification and CHRC (fingerprint and background check).

Start Date: As soon as suitable candidates are hired.

Old Town Elementary School is seeking applications 5th Grade teacher to join our staff in the fall 2020. OTES is a K through 5th grade elementary school, located near the University of Maine, that serves about 400 students. The school has a strong culture and reputation for high expectations and sound instructional practices to meet the varied needs of all our learners. Softball Coach

Old Town High School is seeking a Varsity Softball Coach for the coming season. The successful candidate will need to have a flexible schedule, great communication skills, knowledge of the game, knowledge of MPA rules and guidelines, and the willingness to build on a very successful baseball program. The successful candidate must be or willing to be CHRC Certified and be willing to obtain CPR/AED certification. Other pieces of training may be required for MPA coaching certification.
