In order to relieve some of the congestion at morning arrival, we are putting in place the following procedures. Please read carefully and follow these procedures to help ensure a smooth start to the day. Staff will also be on duty during arrival time along student entrance routes. Thank you in advance!

🔻Arrival Times

7:30 Drop off begins for any families who have 3rd, 4th or 5th grade students. Students in those families in other grades can also be dropped off at the same time.

7:45 Drop off for any families who have only kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade students.

8:15 Drop off continues as needed until this time.

Please plan to arrive at your designated time! This will spread out drop off, but also allow time for your student to get to class on time.

🔻Car Drop Off Lane

Students arriving by car should be dropped off from the car lane. Students should be prepared to safely and quickly exit the vehicle when it is their turn. Adults must stay in the vehicle!

🔻Park and Drop Off

If your student needs assistance or you wish to walk your student to the drop off area, please park in the front parking lot and use the crosswalk. Do not use parking spaces on the left of the building or the side of the road by the parking lot as drop off spaces. Students should not cross the parking lot or crosswalk by themselves! We ask that parents please leave their students on the sidewalk by the crosswalk to keep the number of people gathered to a minimum. We understand that kindergarten and new students may require more help on the first few days.

🔻Bus Drop Off

Students arriving by bus will use hand sanitizer upon exiting the bus, be dropped off from the bus loop near to the right of OTES, and will go to their designated entrance.

🔻Masks and Physical Distancing

All students and families in the entrance areas must wear a mask and maintain physical distancing.

🔻Designated Entrances by Community

Students should follow their designated entry route and go directly to their classroom.

Red Community students (Mrs. White, Mrs. Gilbert, Mr. Rand, Mrs. Dexter, Mrs. Miller and Mr. Zoroya) enter the front door and go up the main stairs.

Yellow Community students (Mrs. Doty, Mrs. Larrabee, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. DeFroscia, Ms. Madden and Ms. St. Peter) walk to the right of OTES, follow the yellow arrows all the way around the building to the entrance behind the playground, and go up the stairs to their rooms. Yellow Community students must not be dropped off on the parking lot side!

Green Community students (Mrs. Smith, Mrs. McCrea, Ms. Lolar, Mrs. Everett, Ms. LaBree and Mrs. Stevens) walk to the right side of OTES and follow the green arrows to either the covered kindergarten doors or to the side green entrance by the first playground.

Blue Community students (Mrs. Henry, Mrs. Kaye-Schiess, Mrs. Lyons, Ms. Ouellette, Mrs. Keane and Mrs. Sugar) walk to the right side of OTES, follow the blue arrows to either the back recess door or the covered kindergarten doors at the back of the building.
