
🏈 OTHS Football 🏈 on the road to Medomak Valley today for the first game of the 2025 season - Hard fought game saw a 30-28 L for the Coyotes, but being behind and clawing back into the fight was exciting to watch! Home opener next Friday v. Gardiner




The Old Town Cross Country teams opened the season today, along with 23 other schools, at the Ellsworth Invitational. The girls team had a good opening meet, finishing up in 4th place led individually by Liz Preble in 18th with an individual course best time of 22:56, while Lily Heitmann in 22nd (23:16), Chloe Henry in 27th with an individual course best time of 23:30, Linzy Heitmann in 39th (24:29) and newcomer Izzy Howard in 48th (25:20) rounded out the scoring. For the boys, Alex Roach was the lone boy for OTHS today, finishing 42nd with a time of 19:52. The teams travel north to the Caribou Invitational next Saturday.



Good old Pepé Bousquet always said "time with friends is important for the soul" - Boys soccer is looking to maximize this ahead of the first game of the season - a little team run, a little team pizza night, and welcoming old friends back for Alumni Game Fun! Enjoy boys, enjoy...





First game for the FIeld Hockey 🏑 team as they traveled to the big city to face John Bapst - OTHS 10-0 JB - Natalie Fournier: 4 goals 1 assist, Phoebe Yerxa: 3 goals 3 assists, Moly Albert: 2 goals 3 assists, Lindsay Mockler: 1 goal, Meredith Cyr: 2 assists. JV Score came to play as well with a solid 9-0 W - Home Opener on Monday v. Hermon!




GAME UPDATE: Due to the Weather prediction for Saturday afternoon, Medomak Valley has moved the game time to 12 PM on Saturday, Sept. 6th - we will have a bus dismissal of 8:30 AM at OTHS. GO COYOTES!

An E. Ketch to Sapiel to Dumond goal 🥅 in the 64th minute proved to be the Win for the Lady Coyotes in the home opener v. MDI - Girls started strong and move to 1-0 on the season - girls back in action next Wednesday at F.A.



Home Opener for the Varsity Girls Program - Victory Field 6 PM - Support the program in the quest for Gold! - Admission will be by DONATION!


LMS Football kicked off the fall season with their home opener vs the Houlton Shires today at Victory Field. The Coyotes took advantage of their speed and came away with a convincing 51-44 victory! Great job team!

UPDATE - Boys Alumni Game is rescheduled for Friday, September 5th @ 5:30 PM at the OTES field - show up and play to help the team get ready for the season!


Events for the Week - Sept. 1st


Coyote Football 🏈 opening up the home season with a pre-season Scrimmage v. M.A. at Victory Field - The boys looked strong and dialed in on the field today - Exciting to see a total team W that featured the Varsity Squad in the 1st half and the JV Squad in the 2nd half of the game. Excited to see what is next for this team!




Solid play all around on the pitch today for the Coyotes as a travel to the Hampden play Day. Both boys and girls teams were in action and the Coyote presence was strong. Boys team went 1-2 on the day, while the girls went 2-0-1 for the tournament. Teams are shaping up to be a tuff Northern Maine Class B Programs!


Due to the weather and the weather coming in a little bit as well - we are postponing Men's Soccer Alumni game to another date! More information to come.


Reminder to LMS Athletes:

First competition of the fall season kicks off in Bar Harbor at the beautiful Kebo CC as MDI hosted the Coyotes! Golf team in action, very young team looking to improve on the season - MDI 198 - OT 240 - moves to 0-1 on the season


Who doesn't like a little late summer yard sale, or what we non-Mainers call a 'tagsale'? Come out and support the Field Hockey team with a bit of yard saling, eating baked goods, and alumni gaming.... See you all this weekend!
