The OTHS Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams traveled to MDI on Friday for regular season meet number four. The girls team had another strong performance, scoring over 200 points for the 3rd consecutive meet on their way to another 1st place team finish. Scoring points for the boys team, which also had a 1st place team finish, were Noah Briggs 1st in TJ and 2nd in LJ & 110H, DJ Davis 1st in 100 & 2nd 200, Maximus Ramos 1st in 800, Hunter Stoup 2nd in TJ & PV, Carter Osnoe 2nd in SP & Disc, CJ Yanush 1st in 110H, Austin King 1st in 200 & 5th in 100, Owen Dunn 2nd in 400, Mason Choiniere 2nd in 800, Marcus Cote 3rd in 400, Josh Wolfertz 3rd in Disc, Logan Dodge 5th in 200, Sian Barrera 4th in Disc, a 1st place from the 4x400 relay team of Yanush, Cote, Mackinnon Speed & Ramos and the 4x800 team of Choiniere, Speed, Dunn & Ramos and a 2nd from the 4x100 relay team of Dodge, King, Davis & Yanush. The teams close out the regular season, with their senior meet, next Saturday at home.

LMS Baseball and Softball teams tried to avoid the rain as they played host to Cohen this afternoon. The boys started the game in a 5-0 hole, but battled back for a 5-3 loss. The girls got the bats going tonight, finishing with their first win of the season 8-4! Teams are in the road Tuesday at Nokomis.

Tonight we had the opportunity to honor those student athletes going on to play in college/university next year. The class of 2026 has nine student athletes who will represent the Coyotes at the next level of play! Congratulations and you all make us proud! #yotenationstrong

LMS Track & Field competed in their 3rd meet of the season at Hermon High School yesterday afternoon. Top 5 finishes uncluded:
Faelynn Briggs- 1st 55m Hurdles, 1st High Jump and 1st Long Jump, Stephen Cormier- 2nd 1600m, 2nd 800m, Alex Gelo- 3rd 100m, Keagan Benson- 3rd 400m, 3rd Boys 4x100m Relay team made up of Gelo, Benson, Karter Hashey and Caleb Heitmann. Great job everyone!
The team is back home next week for their last regular season meet of the season.

JV ⚾️/ 🥎 on the cross town trip to take on the Crusaders - Softball finished up first with a great 9-5W fed by offense and grit! Baseball on the diamond at Husson had to make it interesting with a 18-12W, being up 18-7 in the final inning... But the Coyotes dug in and manufactured a W!

LMS Baseball and Softball teams took to the field this afternoon at home vs. Troy Howard of Belfast. The girls got down early but battled back at to tie things up at the halfway point. Ending with a 8-6 loss. Shout out to Coach Milligan and the OTHS Varsity team for the support! The baseball squad made things interesting with the lead changing 4 times over the course of the game. Ultimately ending with a 6-5 Coyote win! Team are home again Friday vs. Cohen.

OTHS Tennis 🎾 v. MDI on the community courts saw a dominant 4-1W for the Boys Varsity Team, moving to 4-4 on the season. Girls had another tough one with a 5-0L, still looking for the first W of the year.... Next match on Wednesday for Senior Day!

Individually for the girls, who had another strong overall team performance with 19 girls scoring points, Olivia Lizzotte was 1st in Jav, 2nd in the 100 and 3rd in the 200, Ely Briggs 1st in High Jump and 2nd in Long Jump, Lucy Vellieux 1st in Long Jump and 2nd in Triple Jump, Addison Hill 1st in the 100 Hurdles and 2nd in the 300 Hurdles, Liz Preble 1st in the 3200 and 3rd in the 1600, Linzy Heitmann 1st in the 1600 Racewalk, Olivia Ketch 2nd in Shot Put and 3rd in Discus, Lily Heitmann 2nd in the 3200 and 4th in Javelin, Meredith Cyr 2nd in the 800, Lilly Hallett 2nd in the 1600, Taylor Loring 3rd in the 400, Ruby Whitmore 2nd in the 100 Hurdles, Chloe Henry 4th in the 1600, Phoebe Yerxa 3rd in the 800, Carina Albu 4th in the 400, Izzy Howard 5th in the 1600, Willow Connolly 5th in Triple Jump and Emma Ketch 6th in High Jump. For the boys, leading the way was Maximus Ramos with a 1st in the 800 and a 2nd in the 1600, while other point scorers were, CJ Yanush 3rd in the 110 Hurdles, Noah Briggs 2nd in Long Jump, Hunter Stoup 4th in Triple Jump and 5th in Pole Vault, Carter Osnoe 4th in Shot Put, Mackinnon Speed 5th in the 800, Austin King 5th in the 200, DJ Davis 6th in the 100 and 200, Sian Barrera 5th in Javelin, Marcus Cote 6th in Triple Jump, Mason Choiniere 6th in the 800 and Owen Dunn 6th in the 400. Also for the boys, the 4x400 Relay team of Yanush, M. Cote, M. Speed & Ramos finished 1st and the 4x100 team of Logan Dodge, King, Davis & Yanush finished 2nd. Next up, the teams travel to MDI on Friday afternoon.

Tennis 🎾 wrapping up the day of competition at OTHS, hosting Hermon.... Boys played to a 5-0L and move to 3-4 on the season. Girls played to a 4-1L with the only winning match going to Sophie Morgan, girls are 0-7 on the season! Doubles tournament tomorrow.

Baseball ⚾️ action at Victory Fields as Yotes played host to Foxcroft Academy - Duty strong on the mound and backed by solid defense and offense from the team lead the Coyotes to the 5th win of the season, moving to 5-2 on the season and around 5th in heals JV Softball 🥎 hosted the Hawks as well and made the game interesting with relentless hits and competitive defense, came up short though 15-6L

Good morning and Happy Friday OT Field Hockey community! It is that time of year again to share the information and flyer for our summer skills sessions!! I have moved the skills sessions to Tuesday mornings in hopes to get more athletes involved! We will have 2 sessions - 8-930am for K-5 and 930am-1130am for 6-12! OTHS Softball 🥎 played the Ponies today at Victory Field Complex - 10-0W lead by solid defense and strong offense from the Yotes! Coyotes move to 5-2 on the season and holding the 3/4 spot in heal points at the moment. JV on the field tomorrow!

Game Update! OTHS Varsity Baseball has been moved to tomorrow, Friday April 8th - 4:30 PM Softball Varsity v. F.A. Is STILL playing today at 4:30 PM JV Softball v. Hermon will play tomorrow as scheduled! JV Makeup dates are coming soon!
