An amazing day of learning and mentoring as 8 of our future leaders learned what it takes to be a stand out leader in the school and teams that participate in. Thank you to the PVC and keynote speaker Rob Miller for the tips and tricks on being an impactful leader!

A little Update to the Events Schedule with some OPEN GYM ADDITIONS!

Open to everyone to come out and play some basketball.

Coach B over the weekend achieved a personal goal while representing KidsPeace, OTHS, and most importantly, himself. His first out of state race in which he finished 11th out of 66 in his age bracket in his 10 mile race. Coach B always promotes to his players to follow dreams and reach for goals! Great work Coach B!

Events for Nov. 3rd Week

Final Athletics of the 2025 Fall Season occurred today - Coyote Ladies Soccer ⚽️ on the road to Skowhegan for Semi-Final action on the pitch - Ladies played hard but ended up falling to #5 Skowhegan 3-0 - Coyote Football 🏈 and Cheer 📣 traveled to Medomak Valley - Coyotes had a huge uphill battle as the team was dismantled with injuries and sickness - tough game but they played whistle to whistle, 62-6 L. A lot to be proud of for this season and these programs - thank you to all our Seniors and families for the support over the years - until next season my friends!

The OTHS Cross Country teams closed out the season today at the Class B State Meet held on a very challenging course at Cony High School. The girls team finished up in 11th place led by Liz Preble in 51st (23:25.80), followed by Chloe Henry in 61st (24:11.44), Izzy Howard in 66th (24:20.03), Linzy Heitmann in 67th (24:28.68) and Lily Heitmann in 69th (24:31.08). For the boys, Alex Roach capped off his season with a 42nd place finish, running a time of 19:12.88. Congratulations to both teams on very good season, and a special thank you to seniors CJ Yanush and Chloe Henry for their dedication and commitment to the program over the past 2 and 4 years respectively.

Victory Fields hosting Semi-Final Field Hockey 🏑 as #3 Nokomis and #2 OT went to battle - Hard fought game on both sides as Nokomis ended up edging out OTHS 2-1 in the first Overtime... Heck of a season and this team should be proud. Thank you senior players and families for the time with the program and see our FH family next year as we look to battle back!

Girls Soccer ⚽️ jumped on the Coach and headed to #1 Medomak Valley and if you haven't heard ----- Upset city from our Lady Coyotes with a double-OT shot from Tay Tay Madden from a Liv L cross to put the Coyotes up 1-0 - Upsetting #1 and moving onto the Semi-Finals v. Skowhegan HS - more info to come on that game!

A great all team effort and solid offensive play helped OT Field Hockey 🏑 to push past Erskine Academy today 4-2W - Quarterfinal game featured a hat trick from Natalie F with assists from Phoebe Y, Molly A, and Meredith C and another Goal from Phoebe with 6 saves from Arabel M - Girls move onto a Semi-Final game v. Nokomis - details to come as Mother Nature will influence this game!

Some see some Grass Hockey action today at OTHS as the #2 Coyotes take on the #7 Eagles at the Yote's Den! Game time is 3:30 PM or livestreamed on Hudl Fan TV! Good Luck Ladies!

Events for Oct. 27th Week

📣 Old Town High School Cheer Update! 💚 Our OTHS Cheerleaders placed 4th overall at the Game Day Competition in Hampden this weekend! They did a great job leading the crowd and showing true Coyote spirit. We’re so proud of their hard work and energy on the floor! 🐾

The OTHS Cross Country teams traveled to Belfast today for the Class B Northern Maine Regional Cross Country Championships. The girls team received strong individual performances from all five girls, finishing 4th in the team results and qualifying for next week's State Meet, led by Liz Preble in 13th with a course & 5k personal best time of 21:23.01, followed by Chloe Henry in 22nd with a course & 5k time of 22:07.67, Izzy Howard in 25th with a course & 5k personal best time of 22:14.81, Linzy Heitmann in 31st in a season best time of 22:48.86 and Lily Heitmann in 32nd with a season best 22: 49.81. For the boys, Alex Roach continued his strong season with an individual 9th place finish, qualifying him for next week's state meet, with a course & 5k personal best time of 17:52.41 and CJ Yanush ran a season best time of 19:16.82 finishing 33rd. Next week the teams travel to Cony High School in Augusta for the Class B XC State Meet, with the girls running at 12:20, followed by the boys at 1.

And with that, the Ladies move on. An impressive whole team win by the Coyotes move them onto the Quarterfinals v. #1 Medomak Valley. A 7-1 W with goals scored by Karina(3), Britta(2), Liv L, Taylor and assists from Liv L(3), Karina(2), Taylor, with Saves Olivia K 4 saves between the pipes. Ladies will play on Tuesday, Oct. 28th at 3 PM at Medomak!

Senior Night on Victory for our Football, Cheer, and Pep Band Participants- We welcomed Wells to Victory for the final regular season game - Not the best showing for the Coyotes, but we will live to post season 51-13L - Thank you to all of our senior families players and participants for their years of dedication to our programs!

LMS football team wrapped up their season under the lights at home vs MDI tonight. The team battled till the last whistle and ended with a 13-7 loss. This team has made tremendous gains this year and I can't wait to see what next year holds for these kids. Shout out to our 8th graders who played in their last home football game as an LMS Coyote. Thank you for your contribution to our football program!
