LMS football had a special guest stop by practice tonight. UMaine quarterback, Eddie Buehler, helped put the coyote QBs through some drills along with staying to help the rest of the team for the whole practice. Thanks Eddie, good luck with the rest of your season!

LMS Soccer teams wrapped up their seasons at Doughty today. Boys final 3-2 loss and girls final 3-0 loss. Although the scoreboard didn't show it, there were a lots of positives to take away this season. Great job Coyotes!

What a day for Old Town Fall Cheer! Today the girls competed at the Maine GameDay Competition and came home with a WIN! But before the competition, they had something even more important to do. We made a surprise stop to “cheer” Jeremy Bousquet up and performed for him and his family. It was such a special moment and one our team won’t forget. Then they headed to Hampden, hit the floor, and showed exactly what Old Town spirit looks like! "I'm so incredibly proud of this team — not only for bringing home the win, but for the heart they showed before they ever stepped onto the competition floor." Coach Hogan Way to go, Coyotes!

The OTHS Cross Country teams hosted the PVC Large School and Small School Cross Country Championships today at the Victory Field Athletic Complex, with athletes from 27 schools competing. For the boys, Owen Dunn finished 24th in the Large School Division, running a course and 5k personal best time of 19:38.48. And for the girls, the team finished 5th in the Large School Division, with a season best pack time of 3:24, and were led individually by Liz Preble finishing 11th in the Large School Division, running a course personal best time of 21:58.04, while Linzy Heitmann was 26th with a course personal best 24:00.83, Lily Heitmann 28th with a course personal best 24:18.00, Harper Oakes 30th with a course and 5k personal best 24:43.73 and Izzy Howard 33rd with a course personal best 25:22.35 rounding out the scoring. The teams travel to Belfast next Saturday for the Northern Maine Cross Country Regionals, with the boys running at 11 and the girls at 11:40.

LMS Cross Country had a great showing at the Large School Championship at Central yesterday afternoon. The boys finished in 6th, while the girls finished in 9th. Top 30 finishes were had by: Connor Wilson 11th, Danny Pelletier 24th and Heidi Carlson 20th. They will practice from 3:30-5 in the LMS gym.

LMS soccer teams played their last home game of the season today vs. the Eagles from Cohen. Boys ended with a 8-0 loss, followed by the girls with a 4-0 loss. Shout out to our 8th graders who played their last home game as a LMS Coyote. Lucy Heitmann, Civana Hyson, Dalis Belyeu, Peyton Zeigenbein-Coss, Lily Kitchen, Alex Rondo, Henley Feero, Dakota Bean, Wylie Lothian, Brantley Greenleaf, Landyn Smith, Tyler Campbell, Owen Brooks, Aiden Sockbeson and Finn Shorette. The OTHS Cross Country teams closed out the regular season today at the Pendale Invitational in Hermon. The boys started things off with Owen Dunn finishing 19th in a personal best 5K time of 20:07.07 and Koston Hurley, running his first high school cross country race, finishing 37th. For the girls, Liz Preble led the way with an 11th place finish, running 22:47.99, and she was followed by Izzy Howard in 23rd, with a course personal best time, Linzy Heitmann in 24th and Lily Heitmann in 26th. Next Saturday, Old Town will host the PVC Large School and Small School Cross Country Championship Meets at the Victoty Field Athletic Complex beginning at noon.

LMS Football moves to 5-1 on the season after a battle with Ridgeview this afternoon. Shout out to Avery with the game sealing interception! Great job team!

This auction will support the Children's Fund of the RSU 34 Education Foundation, serving Alton, Bradley, and Old Town. The Children's Fund assists in meeting needs for students when other resources are unavailable. These supports include a wide range of things, such as: a pair of sneakers, assistance in attending a summer camp, assistance with college application fees, and assistance to students recovering from a fire. https://www.rsu34.org/page/rsu-34-education-foundation

The winning bidder for each pair of tickets commits to meeting in the Old Town area Thursday afternoon, evening, or Friday morning to pay for the tickets. The tickets will either be provided then, or if paper tickets haven’t yet arrived by mail, they will be available at the “Will Call” entrance before Saturday’s game. (per UM ticket office the tickets should arrive to us by mail no later than Wednesday, but if not they will be available at "Will Call")

LMS Soccer teams made the journey down to Ellsworth this afternoon. After a couple of hard fought games, both teams are coming home with a loss. Boys 3-0, Girls 1-0. Teams are back home Thursday vs Brewer.

LMS Field Hockey squared off with the Hawks at home this afternoon. 48 minutes of play wasn't enough and apparently, neither was 5 minutes of overtime. Final score 2-2. Great job ladies, rest up, Nokomis comes to town next week.

LMS Field Hockey avoided the rain for a game in Brewer this afternoon. The team faced a tough Witches squad who handed our Coyotes a 5-0 loss. The team has a quick turnaround as they face Hermon at home tomorrow.
