Final Senior events of the week saw Baseball ⚾️ and Softball 🥎 in action as they welcomed the Crusaders to Victory Field. Seniors celebrated on the Softball team, while baseball paid respect to the 2021 State Champs with a ceremonial first pitch. Thursday saw the first round of Senior celebrations for the Spring Season with the Tennis 🎾 team playing host to FA for the final match of the season at Home! Both teams lost 4-1 on the day.... Very proud of our seniors and what they have given to our program. On to the post season!







The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams closed out the regular season today at home with their senior meet, with both teams coming away with first place team finishes. For the girls, who won their 4th consecutive meet, Olivia Lizzotte was 1st in the 100 & Jav and 2nd in the 200, Elyannah Briggs was 1st in the HJ with a New School Record jump of 5'-5", 2nd in LJ & 3rd in the 400, Addison Hill was 1st in the 100 Hurdles & 2nd in the 300 Hurdles, Lucy Vellieux was 1st in LJ & 2nd in TJ, Ruby Whitmore was 1st in the 300 Hurdles, 2nd in the 100 Hurdles and 6th in LJ, Liz Preble was 2nd in the 1600 & 3200, Linzy Heitmann was 1st in the 1600 Racewalk, Taylor Loring was 2nd in the 800, Lily Heitmann was 3rd in the 3200, Izzy Howard was 4th in the 1600, Chloe Henry was 4th in the 3200, Willow Connolly was 3rd in TJ & 4th in LJ, Carina Albu was 5th in the 400, Natalee Underwood was 6th in the 1600 Racewalk, Ava Harvey was 6th in TJ and the girls got 1st place finishes from the 4x100 relay team of Lizzotte, Libby Saucier, Hill & Veilleux, the 4x400 relay team of Loring, Albu, Saucier & Briggs and the 4x800 relay team of Loring, Henry, Howard & Lilly Hallett. For the boys, who won their 2nd meet of the season, Noah Briggs was 1st in the 110 Hurdles, LJ, TJ and was 2nd HJ, DJ Davis was 1st in the 100 & 2nd in the 200, Mackinnon Speed was 2nd in the 400, Carter Osnoe was 2nd in SP, Hunter Stoup was 2nd in PV & 6th in TJ, Marcus Cote was 2nd in the 300 Hurdles, Austin King was 4th in the 100 & 200, Maximus Ramos was 3rd in the 1600, CJ Yanush was 3rd in the 110 Hurdles, Owen Dunn was 4th in the 400, Mason Choiniere was 5th in the 800, the 4x800 Relay team of Choiniere, Dunn, Speed & Ramos finished 1st and the 4x400 relay team of Yanush, Cote, Speed & Ramos finished 2nd. The team and coaching staff would like to thank our seniors, Olivia L, Libby S, Chloe H, Elyannah B, Taylor L, Ava H, Carina A, CJ Yanush, Hunter S, Josh W and Parker D for their dedication and commitment to the outdoor track program. Next up is the PVC JV Championship in Hampden on Wednesday and the PVC Large School Championship Meet in Hermon next Saturday.

LMS Baseball and Softball teams began their long stretch of road games in Newport last night as the faced the Nokomis Warriors. Tough night for the Coyotes as both team ended with a loss.

Hermon came to Victory Fields for some Baseball/Softball action for the Varsity teams... Baseball had a hard time getting going as Hermon clipped away manufacturing runs - 4-0L and move to 6-3 on the season. Stable pitching, but a couple errors hurt the Coyotes in a 3-1L v. Hermon and move to 6-3 on the season as well....

LMS Baseball and Softball teams tried to avoid the rain as they played host to Cohen this afternoon. The boys started the game in a 5-0 hole, but battled back for a 5-3 loss. The girls got the bats going tonight, finishing with their first win of the season 8-4! Teams are in the road Tuesday at Nokomis.

JV ⚾️/ 🥎 on the cross town trip to take on the Crusaders - Softball finished up first with a great 9-5W fed by offense and grit! Baseball on the diamond at Husson had to make it interesting with a 18-12W, being up 18-7 in the final inning... But the Coyotes dug in and manufactured a W!


LMS Baseball and Softball teams took to the field this afternoon at home vs. Troy Howard of Belfast. The girls got down early but battled back at to tie things up at the halfway point. Ending with a 8-6 loss. Shout out to Coach Milligan and the OTHS Varsity team for the support! The baseball squad made things interesting with the lead changing 4 times over the course of the game. Ultimately ending with a 6-5 Coyote win! Team are home again Friday vs. Cohen.


OTHS Tennis 🎾 v. MDI on the community courts saw a dominant 4-1W for the Boys Varsity Team, moving to 4-4 on the season. Girls had another tough one with a 5-0L, still looking for the first W of the year.... Next match on Wednesday for Senior Day!
