Due to predicted weather on Thursday, the OTHS Softball Scrimmage @ Bucksport has been moved to Wednesday, April 15th at 4:30 PM - Bus is 2 PM

First week of spring sports for LMS!

Events for the April 5th Week

NPV Swim had its 25-26 Winter Swim Awards presentation last night. Varsity letters and service bars were earned by all 4 schools. Plaques given out to Most improved, and Coaches award for both girls and boys. Plaques were also given to Evelyn Titus (Orono) for being KVAC Champion in the 100 Fly and 500 Free. While honoring the 4 Captains Libby Saucier was given a mini Old Town High School record board for breaking her own 100 Breaststroke record from her Sophomore year. It was a Great season and this group of Seniors are going to be missed greatly!

Events - March 30th Week - Spring Sports Start

The LMS Unified Basketball team wrapped up their season on Friday vs Cohen at Old Town Elementary. Great game with many different scorers leading to a 50-42 victory! Congratulations on a great season!

Bangor Area Wrestling had 2 LMS students compete in the Pine Tree League regional wrestling tournament this past weekend at Ellsworth High School. Competing was 8th grader Chris Belyeu 155lbs who placed 4th, and 6th grader Jaxyn McLaughlin 105lbs who placed 5th. Both are heading to States next weekend at Troy Howard in Belfast. Congratulations!

The OTHS Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams held their end of season awards night on Wednesday evening. Thanks to all team members for one of the most successful combined girls and boys seasons in recent memory. Congratulations to special award recipients Olivia Lizzotte, Elyannah Briggs, Lucy Vellieux, Olivia Barthelemy, Chloe Henry, CJ Yanush, Noah Briggs and Cooper Neely. We would also like to thank our eleven seniors, Lizzotte, Ely Briggs, Barthelemy, Henry, Ava Harvey, Lindsay Mockler, Natalie Fournier, Yanush, Neely, Parker Day and Hunter Stoup, for their years of dedication and commitment to the program.

Congratulations to Sophie Morgan and Taylor Loring last weekend as Sophie was awarded Macdonald’s academic award and Taylor awarded Macdonald’s all star team. These are tremendous honors that require committee review and local nomination. Congratulation on these achievements.

LMS Unified Basketball competed in their second game of the season vs. the Wildcats from Lincoln. Lots of smiles and great shooting from both teams!

Ladies and Gents - I would like to introduce the 2026 PVC Joe Paul Scholar Athlete Winners! All well deserving of the awards, they all were very excited to have my name TWICE on the certificate, and I may have treated them to Ice Cream at Jimmy's because they are cool kids!
