The OTHS Outdoor Track teams held their end of the year awards night on Thursday. The coaching staff would like to thank all team members for another enjoyable and successful season, with the girls team finishing with an amazing overall record of 62 and 8, while the boys team finished with very good overall record as well at 49 and 24. Individually, Coyote Coaches Awards went to Chloe Henry and Parker Day, Outstanding Performer Awards went to Elyannah Briggs and Noah Briggs and Most Valuable Performer Awards went to Olivia Lizzotte and CJ Yanush. Finishing with New School Records were Elyannah Briggs in the High Jump and Lucy Veilleux in the Triple Jump. The staff would also like to thank our eleven seniors for their dedication and commitment to the outdoor track program.


Baseball on the road to Hermon for Quarterfinal action for Class B North... Coyotes didn't have the game they wanted as Hermon came out in the 1st with a couple runs and never looked back. Coyotes season ended with a 6-0 L - No Seniors, so all will be back for a vengeance next year!

The OTHS Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams wrapped up the season today at the Class B Outdoor Track State Championship Meet, held at Freeport High School. The girls team finished the day in 6th place, while the boys team ended up finishing 13th.
Individually for the girls, Elyannah Briggs was the individual state champion in the High Jump for the 3rd consecutive year, increasing her school record with a jump of 5'-6"; which also breaks the 49 year old Class B State Meet record, Lucy Vellieux finished 2nd in the Triple Jump increasing her school record to 37'-7" and also finished 3rd in the Long Jump, while Olivia Lizzotte finished 4th in the Javelin, Linzy Heitmann was 4th in the 1600M Racewalk and Ruby Whitmore finished 8th in the 100M Hurdles with a personal time in the trials, and the 4x100M Relay team of Lizzotte, Libby Saucier, Addison Hill and Vellieux finished 2nd with a season best time of 51.51. For the boys, Noah Briggs finished 2nd in the Triple Jump and 4th in the High Jump, Carter Osnoe was 3rd in the Shot Put with a personal best throw of 47'-6" and CJ Yanush finished 6th in the 110M Hurdles with a personal best time of 16.44.
The teams also had Elyannah Briggs in HJ, Lucy Vellieux in LJ & TJ and the girls 4x100 relay qualify for next Saturday's New England Championships, with Olivia Lizzotte in Jav, Carter Osnoe in SP and Noah Briggs in TJ being provisional qualifiers for the NE meet, which will be held at Noble High School in Maine.

LMS baseball and softball teams wrapped up their seasons last night in Brewer. Even thought the girls lost 7-1, they played great and have improved dramatically since their first match up. The boys finished out the season with a 9-6 win. Congratulations on a great season.

Great day for the Yotes as they played host to Orono at Victory Field. Baseball and Softball both thought they would share the score ending the games with 8-2 W over the Riots. Baseball ends the regular reason at 11-5 and in 5th place in the heals. Softball ends the regular at 12-4 and in 4th place in heals. More info to come on post season action! Five first year team members of the OTHS Girls Outdoor Track team traveled to Orono High School today to compete at the PVC Frosh Championship Meet. Addison Hill led the way with a 1st in the 300 Hurdles and a 2nd in the 100 Hurdles with a personal best time, while Izzy Howard finished 5th in the 1600 with a personal best time, Copelyn Feero was 6th in the 400 with a personal best time and Charlotte Horton and Caroline Pete finished 9th and 16th respectively in the Shot Put.

LMS baseball and softball played their last home games of the season this afternoon against Reeds Brook. The girls faced a tonight team falling 25-5. The boys had a great team win 6-3. Shout out to our 8th graders who played in their last home games as an LMS Coyote. Thank you to Sierra, Holly, Emilee, Lula, Carter, Connor, Gage, Brandon, Finn, Remy and Braiden for your dedication to our programs over the last 3 years! Teams will wrap up their seasons Friday at Brewer under the lights.

Last week of the Spring sports season for LMS teams, lets finish strong!

The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams were at Hermon HS on Saturday for the PVC Large School Championship Meet. Leading the way for the girls, who finished 3rd behind Class A schools Bangor and Hampden, were Lucy Vellieux with a 1st in Long Jump and a 2nd in Triple Jump with a New School Record jump of 36'-8.25", Ely Briggs 1st in High Jump and a 5th in both the LJ & 300 Hurdles, Olivia Lizzotte 1st in Jav & 5th in the 200 and Linzy Heitmann 1st in the 1600 Racewalk with a huge personal best time. Other point scorers were, Ruby Whitmore 3rd in the 100 Hurdles & 6th in the 300 Hurdles, Addison Hill 5th in the 100 Hurdles, Phoebe Yerxa 6th in Disc and in the relays, the 4x100 team of Lizzotte, Libby Saucier, Hill & Veilleux finished 3rd, the 4x800 team of Meredith Cyr, Lilly Hallett, Chloe Henry & Taylor Loring finished 4th and the 4x400 team of Loring, Carina Albu, Saucier & Briggs finished 5th. For the boys team, which finished in 8th, they were led individually by Noah Briggs who finished 1st in both the LJ & TJ with personal bests in both events and also placed 5th in HJ. Other individual point scorers were CJ Yanush 2nd in the 110 Hurdles, Carter Osnoe 5th in Shot Put and Hunter Stoup tied 6th in Pole Vault, while in the relays, the 4x800 team of Mason Choiniere, Owen Dunn, Mackinnon Speed & Maximus Ramos finished 5th and the 4x100 team of Logan Dodge, Austin King, DJ Davis & Yanush finished 6th. Next up, after the Frosh Championships on Tuesday at Orono, the teams travel down to Freeport next Saturday, for the Class B State Championship Meet.







Scores for the day - County Centered day for the Coyotes as ⚾️/ 🥎 traveled to Caribou for a Doubleheader - Baseball with 2 W's and Softball with 2 W's - Congrats Natalie Fournier on her 100th Career hit of her High School Career! She also had a homeroom!
Boys Tennis 🎾 in action at PI for Quarterfinal Tennis and the boys brought it down to the final match of the competition. Season ends for the boys with a 3-2L in the quarters... Good season for the boys!
