The Girls & Boys Indoor Track teams were back in action tonight in a seven team meet at UMaine. The girls team finished 3rd and were led by Grace Willey with 1st place finishes in the Hurdles & High Jump, Kayleigh Johnston with a 1st in the 400M & a 4th in the 55M, Cassidy Rackliffe with a 2nd in the 2 Mile & a 4th in the High Jump, Olivia Lizzotte with a 2nd in the Triple Jump & a 5th in the 55M, got 2nd place finishes from Myah Worster in the 400M & Ely Briggs in the High Jump and a 3rd place from Olivia Small in the High Jump. The boys team, which finished 4th, was led by Corbin Flewelling with a 1st in the Triple Jump (breaking his own school record with a jump of 44' 6.50") & a 4th in the 200M, Jorden Cote with a 2nd in the 55M & a 3rd in the Long Jump, James Cote with a 2nd in the High Jump & a 3rd in the Triple Jump and Spencer Gordon with a 2nd in the 2 Mile. The teams get a
break now until their next meet a week from this Saturday.
OT Cheering hosting the OT Showcase for local cheer teams in the area… I don’t always get to cheer events because of my hosting schedule, but these girls always amaze me with the talent and drive they have to compete! Tonight we also got to recognize our only senior on the team - Natalie Blockburger for her years of service to the program - Teams from LMS, OTO Y Cheer, and OTHS got to showcase the years routines for the community tonight!
Varsity Basketball 🏀 on the road to the county try to beat the snow ❄️- Boys cruised to another win with a 83-32W and moved to a 12-2 on the season. Girls battled to a 47-40W and moved to 15-0 on the season…

Lady Yotes Basketball 🏀 traveled to MCI today - JV coming away with a commanding win - Varsity maintains a perfect season with a 47-25 W moving to 14-0 on the season! To the county on Wednesday.
The OTHS Coyote Cheerleaders had a great performance at the Big East Competition in Ellsworth today! They finished 6th with so talented Big East Teams!
The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams both picked up team victories today in a meet involving the leagues Class B schools. The girls team received individual 1st place finishes from Grace Willey in the Hurdles & Long Jump, Ely Briggs in the High Jump, Olivia Lizzotte in the Triple Jump, Cassidy Rackliffe in the Mile, Kayleigh Johnston in the 400 and Lexi Wesley in the 800, and also got a 1st place finish by the 4x200M Relay team of Kayleigh and Mikayla Johnston, Wesley and Lizzotte. The boys' team victory was led by double-digit points from Corbin Flewelling including1st place finishes in the Long & Triple Jumps, James Cote including a 1st in the Hurdles, Spencer Gordon including a 1st in the Mile, Jorden Cote and Griffin Murray. The teams are scheduled right back in action this coming Wednesday at U. Maine.
Men’s Basketball 🏀 in action for a varsity only event as they welcomed the MCI Huskies to Mackenzie Gym - Team played well and move to 11-2 with a 59-38 W on the day…. Coyotes head to the county on Thursday!
OTHS Wrestling in action at the Dirigo Invitational- Sam C went 2-1 and Kloee M went 2-1 in the event. OT Wrestling will gear up this week to get ready for PVC championships at MDI on sat Jan 28 at 9:30am!
Update: Tonight’s Boys Basketball 🏀 v MCI is canceled (Due to MCI not in school) - Due to officials and scheduling - The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21st at Noon - Varsity Only game!
OTO Black Bears 🐻 finally in action on home ice tonight at the Alfond v. the Witches… Bears came out hungry and picked up the second win finishing 6-3W…. Black Bears move to 2-4-1 on the season…
Wrestling 🤼♀️ on the mats at Dexter tonight - kids had a solid showing with Sam C going 3-0, Elijah T going 2-0, Kloee M going 0-2, and Keane B going 0-1. Team in action away at Dirigo Invitational on Saturday.

Boys Basketball improve to 10-2 on the season with an early week visit to the Island - OT 60 - MDI 32 - JV with a W as well moving to 11-1 on the season…. MCI home on Friday 5:30/7 PM
Black Bears 🐻 on the road for an early game v. Cony HS - Slow first period found the bears down by 2, but skated hard to a 2-2 tie when the final whistle blew… Finally a home game on Thursday v. Brewer.
