The OTHS Cross Country teams began Championship Meet season with the PVC Large School Championship Meet today at Saxl Park in Bangor. The girls team finished up in 5th place, behind individual course and 5k personal best times from Liz Preble in 16th (22:19.84), Chloe Henry in 18th (22:36.92) and Izzy Howard in 21st (22:52.70), with Lily Heitmann in 27th (23:49.00) and Linzy Heitmann in 29th (24:22.86) closing out the scoring for the girls. For the boys, Alex Roach finished 9th with a course personal best time of 18:12.14 and CJ Yanush finished the race in 31st with a time of 20:55.02, despite rolling his ankle midway through the race. The teams travel to the Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast next Saturday for the Northern Maine Class B Cross Country Regional, girls at 12:20pm, followed by the boys at 1pm.


Hard fought game at historic Doyle Field as the 🐺 Coyotes paid a visit to the Witches 🧙- This was the 9th meeting between the programs since 2000, and this is the first win since 2000 against Brewer! This 18-15 win helps the Coyotes move to the post season as they welcome powerhouse Wells to Victory Field next Friday.... Celebrate the W's!



Today was not about the score, but about the people - OTFH hosted Orono on this cold rainy afternoon to play a field hockey 🏑 game, but also to bring awareness to a cause and help support one of our their own. Two communities came together to show support and raise money for the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute as they are responsible for bringing our own Coyote back to us.... A game was played, but love and support was shown.... 4-0 OTHS v. Orono






LMS field hockey team battled the elements vs Troy Howard from Belfast this afternoon. After a cold, wet and windy 48 minutes, we ended with a 1-1 tie. Thank you to our 8th graders who played in their last home game as an LMS coyote. Next match up is at Bangor on Wednesday.



The LMS Cross Country team wrapped up their season at the Inland Championship at Mattanawcook Academy this afternoon. Top 30 finishes were had by: Heidi Carlson 27th, Connor Wilson 28th, Aiden Sockbeson 12th, Irvin Batcheldor 4th and Stevie Cormier 3rd. The boys came away with another 2nd place trophy! Missing out on the top spot by 1 point! Congratulations on a great season team!

The leaves are beginning to pile up, which means winter sports are just around the corner at LMS! Any academically eligible student who wishes to participate in a winter sport must be signed up and have all required paperwork turned in by Nov. 10, 2025. All winter information is linked below.

LMS football played on the road in Camden this afternoon. After a hard fought battle the team came away with a 32-26 loss. The team will square off vs MDI at home next week for the last game of season!

LMS soccer team were back in action today vs Cohen after their long weekend. The teams worked hard but both teams ended with a loss. Boys 5-1, Girls 6-0. Teams have the rest of the week to prepare for their last games of the season next Tuesday vs. Doughty.




OT FH in the hunt at Hermon HS for a little afternoon grass hockey 🏑- Varsity playing first to a 9-0 W - Goals by Phoebe Yerxa, Natalie Fournier, Lindsay Mockler, RubyRay Shaw and Charlotte Horton - Assists by: Natalie F, Meredith C, Molly A, Lindsay M, Taylor L and Sophia M - Arabel M and Brenna J both in goal for the shut out! Shared JV played to a OT/Brewer 4-3 Hermon Win


Rounding out the Holiday Game extravaganza - Victory Field under went a change to accommodate the second round of games and saw two styles of football 🏈 ⚽️ - JV Football played host to Nokomis HS for a little under the lights action on Victory Field - A back and forth game with huge yardage break out plays saw a final score of Nokomis 24 - 22 OTHS - Team welcomes Brewer in a week!

Always a fun day to have a full day of Soccer ⚽️ on the pitch of Victory Field as we played host to the Vikings. Boys Varsity first with a Sucy trick shot but falling 13-1 L - Girls took the pitch next and with the help fromTaylor(3), Liv(2), Karina - Assists: Liv(4), Karina, Taylor
Saves: Olivia K(7) the girls walked away with a 6-0 W - JV played to a hard fought battle with Jae scoring, assisted by Olivia and 15 saves from Raegan! Thank you to the OTO YMCA Youth Soccer players for welcoming our team to the field!





Events for the October 13th Week!

🏈 On our way to Central Maine area for some afternoon football on this beautiful day. Man did the boys play hard, said multiple times during the WABI broadcast - Boys played to a 42-28 L, moving to 2-4 on the season and in 10th place. 🏈

The OTHS girls and boys Cross Country teams traveled to Hermon today for the return of the Pendale Invitational. The girls team finished 4th in the team results led by Liz Preble with an individual 10th place finish and a personal best 5k time of 22:23.33, she was followed by Chloe Henry in 14th (22:50.13), Linzy Heitmann in 20th (23:39.34), Lily Heitmann in 23rd (24:14.04) and Izzy Howard in 24th (24:28.37). For the boys, Alex Roach turned in a strong performance finishing 6th with a personal best 5k time of 18:09.72 and CJ Yanush finished 18th with a time of 19:51.01. Next Saturday the teams travel to Saxl Park in Bangor for the PVC Large School Championship Meet, beginning at noon.


OTHS Soccer ⚽️ traveling to the coast today for some fun on the Island 🏝️- Girls Varsity played first and ran away with a 2-1 W with Goals by Britta, Karina with Assists by Liv L, Taylor - Saves (3) by Olivia K - Boys Varsity and JV both played next - JV worked to a 10-0 L and Varsity a 8-0 L against MDI

OTHS one and only Golfer 🏌️♀️ Mya Betters played the famous Tomahawk Course at Natanis C.C. for the Class B States. Mya finished 8th and earned a medal as a 10 ten finisher in Maine. Heck of a freshman year Mya!




OTHS Field Hockey 🏑 welcomed The Witches to Victory Fields - Game ended in a tie in double OT 2-2 - OT was fueled by Natalie Fournier who scored both goals, one was off a stroke and the other was assisted by Phoebe Yerxa - the team is back in action Tuesday @ Hermon HS!

Girls Soccer ⚽️ on the road to Ellsworth tonight for the last matchup this season. JV played a game first 2-1 loss. Goal by Sophia R. Assisted by Raegan. Raegan 13 saves. 🥅 Varsity gave up and early goal, but dominated the game, just couldn't find the net, lost 1-0... back to the Island on Saturday

LMS field hockey kicked off their long weekend with a great win over the Hawks this afternoon 6-1! The team will get some rest before heading to Hocktoberfest at Thomas College on Sunday.
