
JV Sports ⚾️/ 🎾 in action on this muggy day - JV Jambo in Brewer yielded some solid play from OT's JV Doubles teams - JV Baseball welcoming our friends from the North PI - Double-Header with a split - OT 10-0 Game 1 and Losing 8-7 Game 2


OTHS Tennis 🎾 representing at the Maine State Tennis Singles Tournament yesterday- All three members, K. Plourde, K. Plourde, and S. May faced the best in the state at Bates College. Plourde x 2 got knocked out in the first round, Sadie won her first, but lost in the next round... Congratulations and thank you for representing our school at the state level!


Braving the sudden showers, JV Baseball in action at Brewer, on the turf, Yotes bring home the W with a 4-2W.... back in action tomorrow as PI comes to town!


LMS Baseball and Softball avoided the rain for a couple games at home this afternoon. Unfortunately both teams are going into the weekend with a loss. Teams are back in action Tuesday vs. Cohen for their last home game of the season.


Update on Saturday in P.I. - Due to predicted weather in the afternoon, we have moved the start times for Baseball/Softball to 11 AM/1 PM for tomorrow, Saturday May 18th double-headers - Coach Bus Departure is 6:30 AM


The only games to get in happened down on the coast at Ellsworth - Closer game than the score but the boys ⚾️ dropped one to Ellsworth 7-3 - Softball 🥎 on the other hand picked up a solid W with great pitching and solid bats 4-3 W.... Up to the county on Saturday!

LMS Baseball and Softball teams played home yesterday vs. Hermon. Softball had great run in the last inning but it wasn't enough finishing with a 13-7 loss. The Baseball team took a commanding 4-0 lead until the top of the 7th inning where the Hawks drove in 7 runs which lead to their victory 7-4. Both teams are home again Friday vs. Nokomis.


Final tallies of the day come from OTHS Tennis 🎾 at MDI - Boys Tennis losing 3-2 and moving to 5-3 on the year... Girls Tennis wins 3-2 and moving to 5-3 on the season... at FA on Thursday!


OTHS JV sports had a day as well - JV Baseball ⚾️ playing down in MDI coming home with the extra-inning W 10-6 completing the sweep 🧹 - JV Tennis dominating the courts with a match v. Orono - Victories all around for the Yotes!


OTHS had some fun ones today as we played host to MDI at Victory Fields - ⚾️helped by a 1-hitter from Duty, and home runs from Baker and Mahaney winning 6-0 - moving to 7-2 on the season - 🥎 had to make it interesting coming back to win with key hits from Evans and dance moves from Brown winning in extras 5-4 - moving to 6-3 on the season.... going to Ellsworth on Thursday!



Old Town welcoming Orono to the Community Courts for an afternoon match on the green top 🎾 - Boys and Girls both battled to the last match and coming away with 3-2 Victories - boys move to 5-2 and girls move to 4-3 on the season!


Busy Busy Busy Week for the Yotes!


The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams traveled to MDI on Friday for a five team regular season meet, with the girls' team finishing 2nd behind Hampden and the boys' team finishing 3rd. Leading the way for the girls with individual 1st place finishes were Kylee Murray in the Javelin, Ely Briggs in the High Jump and Emma Mushero in the 1600 Racewalk, with a personal best 8:50.15. They also received 2nd place finishes from Lexi Wesley in the 800, Ruby Whitmore in the 300 Hurdles, Lilly Mitchell in the 100 Hurdles, Ari Murray in the 1600 Racewalk, Kylee Murray in the Shot Put, the 4x100 Relay team of Olivia Lizzotte, Libby Saucier, Whitmore & Olivia Barthelemy, the 4x400 team of Wesley, Mikayla Johnston, Whitmore & Barthelemy and the 4x800 team of Liz Preble, Chloe Henry, Phoebe Yerxa & Lily Heitmann, and also had 3rd place finishes from Lizzotte in the Triple Jump & Javelin, Heitmann in the 3200 and Crystal Thacker in the Shot Put.
For the boys, Hayna Francis led the way with a 1st in the Long Jump, a 2nd in the 400 & a 3rd in the Triple Jump, and received 2nd place finishes from Killian Pottle in the Shot Put, Noah Briggs in the High Jump and the 4x100 Relay team of Andrew Wolfertz, CJ Yanush, Lucas Bartkiewicz & Evan Reardon, and got 3rd place finishes from Pottle in the Javelin, Tommy King in the High Jump and the 4x400 Relay team of Andrew Wolfertz, Marcus Cote, Griffen Henderson & Francis. The teams close out the regular season next Saturday afternoon at home.


OTHS played host to Class A Bangor and we got to see home runs all around the complex - Sage Evans with a bomb with Emma D's solid pitching let to a 12-1 W - Boys battled back from a 5-0 deficit that saw a Tyler Priest dinger, but came up short 14-9 L.... teams back in action next week!


A couple of tennis 🎾 matches at Armstrong Tennis center - Girls 0 - 5 JB moving them to 3-3 on the season and Boys 1 - 4 JB moving them to 4 - 2 on the season!


The LMS Track and Field team traveled to Cameron Stadium yesterday for their third meet of the season. Our kids battled the wet weather and came away with some great results including:
