
🏊♂️ NPV Swim 🏊♀️ at the PVC Championships at Husson University for girls and boys - Many Many Many PR's for our swimmers today - NPV Girls finishing with a top 5, Boys finished in 6th for the PVC - Next Up..... States!



OT Cheer at the class B State Competition at the Augusta Civic Center - placing 13th in a challenging class and taking away the experience of making it will build the program! Great end of the season!







The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams competed in the PVC Large School Championship Meet last night at the U. Maine New Balance Fieldhouse, in a meet running in conjunction with the Small School Championship Meet, that ended close to midnight. For the girls, who ended up in 4th place, freshman Lucy Veilleux finished 1st in the Long Jump, with a new school record jump of 17'-2.75", and was 3rd in the Triple Jump, Ely Briggs finished 1st in the High Jump & 5th in the Long Jump, Kylee Murray was 2nd in the Shot Put and Lexi Wesley in the 800M, Lily Heitmann in the 2 Mile and Makenzie Rodriguez in the Long Jump all finished 6th, while the 4x800M Relay team of Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Heitmann finished 2nd and the 4x200M Relay team of Mikayla Johnston, Olivia Barthelemy, Wesley & Ruby Whitmore finished 4th. For the boys, who finished 5th, Hayna Francis was 2nd in the Long Jump,
Parker Day was 3rd in the Triple Jump & 5th in the Long Jump, CJ Yanush was 4th in the Hurdles, Noah Briggs was 5th in the Hurdles & 6th in the Triple Jump, Cooper Neely was 6th in the 400M, the 4x200M Relay team of Andrew Wolfertz, Neely, Kaiden Plourde & Francis was 3rd, and the 4x800M Relay team of Neely, Kaiden Plourde, Kameron Plourde & Francis also finished 3rd setting a new school record in the process with a time of 8:48.62. Next up is the Class B State Meet at Bates College in Lewiston on February 19th.



Another night full of basketball 🏀 kicked off by Unified v. Dexter with an awesome halftime dance party celebrating Lydia C. bday - followed by OT JV Girls at Hermon (53-32L) ending the JV season and finally JV Boys ending the season with a 36-33 L to Orono.... JV teams had a great season...





🐻 OTO 🐻 playing host to the Crusaders at the Alfond tonight - Varsity, back to a full squad after injuries have plagued us, skated to a 4-2 L on the night - JV with a tight 0-0 game right after.... Traveling to Messo on Saturday!


Busy night in Mackenzie as we celebrated the programs senior members for Girls Basketball, Cheer, Pep Band, owe and we played 2 games of basketball! Girls JV with a big W 31-26, Varsity with a solid 56-31 W finishing the season 16-2 currently 2nd in heals - THANK YOU SENIORS!

A night full of Basketball 🏀 kicked off by Unified on the road to Dexter losing by 1 but gaining the traveling experience- JV started the party at the Pit with a 44-30 W and Varsity ended the Party at the Pit with a 59-48 L 😉- Post season is coming!

Here is some information:
- Livestream - 92.9 The Ticket TV
- Admission is a flat rate of $5.00. Senior citizens are FREE. NO season passes from either school are good for this game. All spectators will be given an admission ticket and must show that upon re-entry to the facility to one of the UMaine student workers.
- Tickets are not limited, so all should be able to fit
- Old Town spectator seating (First stairway before entering the fieldhouse) will be on the parking lot side of the facility or the same side as the media row. There will also be seating on the far end to the side of the north-end basket.
- THERE WILL BE NO SEATING ALLOWED BEHIND THE NORTH END BASKET FOR THIS GAME. WE WILL HAVE A UMAINE STAFF MEMBER AT THAT LOCATION DIRECTING SPECTATORS.
- The Old Town High School student section will be directly across from the Old Town team bench area.
- The venue is steep. It would be a good idea for both schools to ask three or four students to assist spectators who may have issues getting to their seats.
- Concessions - Orono Boosters will be located in the Fieldhouse. There will be signs directed to that area. Food and drink may be purchased and brought back into the Pit. There are high school track practices going on that evening in the fieldhouse.

Events Feb 5th Week


OTO 🐻 with its traditional game with our Southern Maine friends in Portland - OTO down some players but played a strong game - 4-2 loss v. Portland HS - back at the Alfond on Wednesday...


In the words of Coach Morey "we're going to states baby!" OTHS finishing 6th solidifies a qualifying spot for Class B State Competition! We are going to Augusta baby! Onto states!


Just a few games up North as Coyotes travel to Caribou for some basketball - Girls made it exciting - JV 41-34 L - Varsity 61-58 in Overtime! - Boys team hit a bit of a speed bump as JV lost 71-66 and Varsity suffers 2nd loss 56-36 - Some big games next week for the teams!


The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams closed out the regular season today in an eight team meet at U. Maine. The girls' team finished up in 3rd place behind Bucksport and Hampden and were led individually by Lucy Veilleux with 1st place finishes in the Long Jump & Triple Jump, Ely Briggs 1st in the High Jump, 2nd place finishes from Lexi Wesley in the 800M, Lily Heitmann in the 2 Mile, Kylee Murray in the Shot Put, the 4x200M Relay team of Mikayla Johnston, Olivia Barthelemy, Wesley & Ruby Whitmore and the 4x800M Relay team of Chloe Henry, Liz Preble, Phoebe Yerxa & Heitmann. For the boys' team, Parker Day was 1st in the Triple Jump, Carter Osnoe 2nd in the Shot Put, the 4x200M Relay team of Lucas Bartkiewicz, Cooper Neely, Kaiden Plourde & Hayna Francis finished 2nd, Noah Briggs was 3rd in the Triple Jump and Neely & Francis finished 4th in the 400M and 800M respectively in the boys
6th place team finish. It's a short turnaround for the teams as they head back to U. Maine for the PVC Large School Championship Meet next Thursday evening.


LMS Cheering attended the Doughty Cheering Invitational this afternoon and for the second week in a row, came home with some hardware! Congratulations ladies on a second place finish!


LMS Boys played home to finish out the season vs Nokomis. The B team had a hard fought battle but finished with a loss 47-31. The A team started slow but finished with a 70-31 victory. Congratulations on a great season!


LMS Girls Basketball traveled to Nokomis for their last games of the season this afternoon. The B team finished with a loss but the A team finished the season with a strong victory. Congratulations on a great season ladies!
