Summer Programming Staff
Job Opening at All Grade Spans
RSU #34 (Alton, Bradley, and Old Town) is now accepting applications for summer programming staff. These staff will become part of our educational team, working side-by-side with our teaching staff to design and implement fun and engaging summer programming that is rich in inquiry, discourse, literacy, and numeracy! The employment opportunities begin mid-May and span through mid-August, with a total of 12 weeks of “earn while you learn” potential. Those interested in beginning earlier may also apply for our immediate openings for substitutes.

Ed Tech III's

Qualified candidates would have applicable Maine Department of Education Ed Tech Certification and CHRC (fingerprint and background check).
Start Date: As soon as suitable candidates are hired.

Ed Tech III in the Self-Contained Program
RSU #34 and Leonard Middle School seeks a talented Educational Technician III that is positive, flexible and willing to support students with complex needs. Preference will be given to those with prior experience or training working in a self contained setting.

OLD TOWN HIGH SCHOOL
Technology/Media Teacher
Start Date: Fall 2021
Old Town High School is looking for an outstanding Technology teacher to join their team at Old Town High School. The successful candidate should be a strong communicator, reflective of their classroom practices, a lifelong learner, and possess a strong understanding of technology, including, but not limited to – basic computer essentials, coding, social media/web design, digital photography and video production.
A Maine 680 Computer Technology Endorsement is preferred, but we are willing to review applications for those working toward this endorsement.

Old Town High School is looking for an outstanding Social Studies teacher to join their team at Old Town High School. The successful candidate should be motivated, reflective of their classroom practices, a lifelong learner, and able to teach the complete range of Social Studies courses at the high school level. Knowledge or experience in a standards-based learning environment would be preferred.

Track Coach
OTHS Athletics is looking for a motivated and driven asst track coach to help assist our Spring Track Program. We are looking to add an individual that will be apart of the girls and boys OT Track Program that has shared in a ton of student-athlete and team success in recent years.
We are looking for a coach with track experience, coaching experience, and knowledge of throwing events or coaching experience in the throwing events.
Season starts at the end of March
