Our team of educators at RSU 34 work hard to continually refine curricular plans, instructional strategies, and assessment practices to raise student aspirations, student engagement, and student achievement.  We invite the public to browse through our curricular plans, which are deliberately ever-evolving to meet student needs and interests, address local and state initiatives, and any emerging research on best practices.

RSU 34 uses a variety of formative and summative assessments to inform practices at the district, building, classroom, and individual levels.  The major local and state assessments are detailed on the assessment calendar below.  We encourage students and parents to fully participate in our assessment program; it is important to note that parents and guardians have the option to opt out of certain assessments.  For more information please reach out to either your school's principal or to Dr. Doty in advance of the assessment.
