LMS Athletics Update: Although students will using a remote schedule this week. We will still be holding sports practices. This weeks schedule is as follows:

Boys Basketball scrimmage @ Milford 3:30 (bus 2:45 at LMS)
Girls Basketball scrimmage vs. Milford 3:30 (at OTES)
No Cheering practice
Tues 11/26
Boys Basketball 3:30-5 (OTES)
Girls Basketball 5-6:30 (OTES)
Cheering 3:30-5 (LMS)

Events - Nov. 11th Week


The last Fall Sports team fell today as the Coyotes fell to # 1 F.A. at Oakes Field in F.A. - Coyotes hung tight till the mid 2nd quarter - Lost 29-0 - This marks the last game for our Senior members wishing them luck in the future and thank them for the years of fun on the Coyote Gridiron!

Athletic Events - Nov. 4th Week


The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams closed out the season today at the very challenging Twin Brook Recreation Area course in Cumberland. The girls' team finished up in 10th place in a talented Class B field, led by freshman Linzy Heitmann in 39th, followed by senior Lida Kanoti, running in her last cross country race, with an individual course personal best time, in 45th, sophomore Lily Heitmann in 48th, junior Chloe Henry in 72nd and sophomore Liz Preble in 77th. The boys had three individuals competing today and were led by senior Hayna Francis, who finished off his cross country career with a strong 21st place finish in a time of 17:55, while junior CJ Yanush and freshman Alex Roach, each competing in their first state meet, finished 63rd and 89th respectively.




OTHS Football 🏈 down to Huskies country as they play #4 MCI - Coyotes showed up and played a tough game that saw solid Defense and some offense this game - Yotes come away with a 30-0 win over MCI - Onto #1 FA on Friday, Nov. 8th at 7 PM



Quarter-Final grass hockey 🏑 down in Leavitt today as the Coyotes attempt to move on in the post season - Leavitt 3 - 0 Coyotes - Ending the season for this young team, now we build for next year and thank our Seniors for the positive influence on the program!



OTHS Field Hockey v. Leavitt is postponed till tomorrow, Oct 31st - this is due to Leavitt field conditions and weather.... Same time, Same place, Same bus time - just a different date! Goooooo Coyotes!


Athletics is challenging, demanding, frustrating, exciting, and rewarding. Today we got rewarded as we got to bring 8 of our future Yote Athletic Leaders to the PVC Summit Leadership Conference - Coyotes learned how to be a leader, what it takes, and they have been tasked to bring it back to the school, not just the team! Great things happening in Yote Nation!

OTHS Cheer at the MPA Sideline Cheer Competition hosted by at Hampden Academy - The Team put on an energetic and solid routine - Finishing 4th for the 2024 Sideline Cheer Season! Great work Team!



Congratulations to the OTXC Girls Cross Country team for finishing as the Class B Northern Regional Cross Country Runners-Up and qualifying for States today at the Troy Howard MS in Belfast. All five girls equaled or ran individual course personal bests with senior Lida Kanoti leading the way in 11th, followed by Lily Heitmann in 14th, Linzy Heitmann in 18th, Chloe Henry in 27th and Liz Preble in 33rd. For the boys team, which finished 8th, one place out of qualifying as a team, senior Hayna Francis led the way individually finishing 7th with a course personal best time of 17:38, while Alex Roach with a course personal best time was 24th, CJ Yanush was 28th, Jesse Bouchard was 79th and Kevin Murray with a course personal best time was 88th. Francis, Roach and Yanush all qualified individually and will join the girls team at States next week at the Twin Brook Recreation Park in Cumberland.






Rough night on Victory Field for the Yote Football 🏈 team as they faced a tough Winslow team - 34-6 L - move to 3-5 on the season - Final Regular Season Game for our Seniors on Victory Field tonight and our Senior Members on the sideline cheering - Thank you for the time representing Yote Nation!
