
The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams opened the season today at home in an 11 team meet. The girls' team came away with a strong first place team finish, receiving individual victories from Kylee Murray in the Shot Put & Discus, Lucy Veilleux in the Long Jump & Triple Jump, Ely Briggs in the High Jump, Mikayla Johnston in the 400M, Emma Mushero in the Racewalk, the 4x800M Relay team of Lexi Wesley, Liz Preble, Phoebe Yerxa & Lily Heitmann and the 4x100M Relay team of Olivia Lizzotte, Johnston, Ruby Whitmore & Veilleux. While the boys team had a solid 3rd place team finish, led by individual runner-up finishes from Hayna Francis in the 800M & 200M, Grayson Thibeault in the Long Jump & Triple Jump and Killian Pottle in the Shot Put. The teams are back in action next Saturday at Cameron Stadium in Bangor.

4 LMS students competed in the middle school pine tree league regional wrestling tournament today at Bucksport High. States is next weekend at Nokomis HS. Competing was Chris 110lbs 10th, Remington 87lbs 6th, Caleb 145lbs 6th, Jack 117lbs 3rd (moving onto the state meet).... Congrats gentlemen and great work today!


Coyotes Giving - Continues with Spring sports Baseball/Softball doing clinics today you our communities youth! Great turn out and the team had a blast inspiring the future Coyotes!

🔥 Noah's Shutout Symphony! Noah brought the heat with Pyra/Mythra, unleashing a devastating "Blazing Blade" combo that shut out his Dark Samus opponent. It was a flawless performance, a true symphony of skill that resulted in a perfect 2-0 victory! 🚀
🔥 Daytona's Bowser Blitz! Daytona faced off against Mii Fighter in a nail-biter but unleashed multiple Bowser "Flying Slams" that sent his opponent flying off the stage! Three stomps later, it was game, set, and match for Daytona in a 2-1 win! 🔥That's one fiery comeback! 🏆
Our Coyotes are now 3-3, with the final match looming next Wednesday at 4:00 P.M.! Final standings will be announced, and we'll find out if we're in the Maine State Playoffs!

Exciting News! The PCHC clinic can now provide sports physicals by appointment at the OTES site. However, until they hire a full-time physician, they can only provide the physicals on Tuesdays between 8 and 3. Parents should call ahead to schedule the appointment: 207-404-8004.

Another congratulations goes out to freshman Lucy Veilleux, who was recently named to the Portland Press Herald Girls Indoor Track All-State Team! It is a great way to top off a truly amazing freshman season of indoor track at OTHS!



Events - March 25th Week


E-Sports Update! Zekiel had a tough time with Sora vs Mario, losing the first game 0-3
In the second game, he continued with Sora but faced off against Bowser. It was a much closer game but ended with a 2-3 loss.
Noah played Pyra/Mythra against Min Min. The first game was challenging. Noah lost 0-3. The second game was against the same characters and closer but ended in a 1-3 loss.
Daytona filled the third slot and chose to play Bowser against King K. Rool. The first game was close but ended in a 2-3 loss. The second game was between the same characters but had the same outcome with a 1-3 loss.
We’re now 1-3 on the season and 18th out of 30 teams in the state.


Welcome Coyotes to the spring sports season - Monday, March 25th starts the 2024 season for the Coyotes. The following is the schedule and location for next week for all sports:
- Tennis - in the Gym after Volleyball - 4:15 - 5:30 PM Girls Tennis and 5:30 - 6:15 PM Boys Tennis
- Softball - 3:30 - 5:30 PM at Milligans Sports Center (5 Gillman Falls Rd, Old Town)
- Baseball - 9th + 10th Graders 5:30 - 6:30 PM/ 11th + 12th Graders 6:30 - 7:30 PM Milligans Sports Center (5 Gillman Falls Rd, Old Town)
- Track Practice - at the YMCA indoor track facility - 3:30-5:30 PM


The last skate for our OTO 🐻 Seniors Avery Redding + Dylan Davis as they represent OTO in the Senior Allstar Games at Norway Savings Bank Arena! Game went to overtime shootout



A little trip to the Capital today as our Girls Basketball 🏀 was recognized on the floor of the Senate and House for the seasons accomplishments. The Girls enjoyed the day, asked a lot of questions, and got to watch our Government in action! Congratulations 2023-24 Girls Basketball Team!
