OTHS Cheer at the first competition of the season. Team with a solid routine at today's MCCA Showcase. If this were a ranked competition, there scores would’ve put them at 4/7 of the Class A/B teams in attendance. Great start to the season ladies!



A pair of JV Basketball 🏀 games v. JB at Makenzie to wrap up the week - First was the boys team with a 69-57 W and Girls to follow with a 49-29 L - teams a traveling next week for some good competition!



LMS Girls Basketball teams played at home vs Hermon this afternoon at OTES. Both teams finished with a loss, but there was much to be proud of! The girls are back in action Tuesday at Reed Brook.


LMS Boys Basketball teams traveled to Hermon this afternoon. The B team played in another close game but came away with a loss 38-33. The A Team is coming home with a win 54-39. The boys have a 3 day break before Reeds Brook comes to town on Tuesday.


LMS Cheering Competition at Brewer has been postponed due to the impending storm. New date is scheduled for Wednesday February 14 at 6:00.


Boys Basketball 🏀 on the road to Hermon tonight where the boys almost faced the first L of the season - made it a close game as Hermon played the stall ball the first half - Boys still bounced back to a 43-40W and still undefeated- JV had a rough one losing 57-17


WA blew into Mackenzie for a little Girls Hoops after a postponed game yesterday- JV with the exciting game of the night but coming up short 42-28 L - Varsity played to a 54-20 W - moving 8-1 on the season - big game in Ellsworth next week!



LMS Boys Basketball teams hosted Brewer for a couple of nail bitters! The A team battled the whole game and trailed by 10 at one point. In the end the boys rallied for a 49-47 victory. The B team followed with another hard fought game that came down the final seconds, with the Witches taking the win 40-37. Boys teams are back in action tomorrow at Hermon.


LMS Girls Basketball teams traveled to Brewer this afternoon to take on the Witches. The A team played first and fell 38-18. The B team followed with a loss 34-24, but coach was happy with the teams effort and positivity. Hermon comes to town tomorrow!

Track Meet #4 at UMaine has been moved to Monday, 1/15 - Same Times for this Event
The MCCA Cheer Competition at Ellsworth has been moved to Monday, 1/15 - Same Times for this Event.
Girls Basketball v. MDI has been postponed and moved to Friday, Jan. 19th - JV 5:30/ Var 7 PM.


Today's LMS Basketball games vs. Brewer have been moved to tomorrow 1/11.

🏊♀️ NPV 🏊 traditional mid week meet @ Belfast had some great personal PR's - Belfast took both the W's on the night - Boys Team 67-27 L, Girls Team 61-34 L - little bit of a break for the team before the next meet.


Only thing for tonight - 9-0 - and top of Class B North Basketball 🏀 - Enjoy Your Day Off

Tonight's big Orono v. Old Town Basketball 🏀 Game - This game is a first come, first serve game, we are not pre-selling tickets! We will be counting at the door to establish capacity - WE WILL HAVE CLEARLY MARKED STUDENT SECTIONS (Orono Section E/ OT Section D) - Behind the OT Bench will be an OT Section for staff, family, and Friends - Should be a great NIGHT!


LMS Boys Basketball traveled to Bangor yesterday for a couple games at the William S Cohen School. The B team played in another close game but ended with a 38-33 loss. The A team also came away with a loss, 54-39. The boys are back in action Wednesday with Brewer at home. This is a make up game from 12/18 so "A" teams will play first. We will yet again be keeping an eye on the weather, stay tuned.


LMS Girls Basketball teams faced a couple of tough Cohen teams at OTES yesterday afternoon. The B team ended with a 74-7 loss, followed by a close A game until the 4th quarter where Cohen pulled away to a 48-38 victory. The girls are back in action Wednesday at Brewer. This is a make up game from 12/18 so "A" teams will play first. Obviously, we will be watching the weather yet again, stay tuned.

A quick turnaround for the Black Bears 🐻 as they faced a strong St. Dom's team on the road - Norway Savings Bank Arena saw some good hockey 🏒 that ended with a 5-2 L for the 🐻 - Wildcats on Friday up on the county!
