
LMS Boys Basketball teams played Ellsworth at OTES this afternoon. The B team played in a tight game that went to overtime. But came away with a loss 53-48. The A team finished with a solid win 64-41. Up next, the boys travel to Cohen on Monday. Shout to the LMS Cheering team for your support at today games!


LMS Girls Basketball teams faced a couple of tough Ellsworth teams on the road this afternoon. Both teams are heading home with a loss. B team final 24-8, A team final 35-32. The girls are back in action Monday vs. Cohen at OTES.


Battle of the Big East Titans as the Lady Coyotes 🐺 face the Ellsworth Eagles 🦅 - 4 straight quarters of battling but the Eagles come out on top this round with a 53-48 W against the Yotes - JV also fell to the Eagles 43-22 - Ladies move to 6-1 on the year!



OTO Hockey 🥅 Welcoming GWW to the Alfond tonight for a little frozen water 🧊 action - Black Bears 🐻 came out swinging scoring 12 goals to GWW 4 - 🐻 move to 2-2-1 on the season - JV playing host to newly formed FA Hockey 🏒 and skate away with an 8-0 W - Witches on Saturday!

Couple more Yote scores on the last Saturday of the Year! Boys Basketball 🏀 welcomed the Hawks into Mackenzie, JV with a comeback game, but fell 32-34, Varsity with another solid W 57-43 - On the frozen Water, OTO 🏒 with the first W of the season with a 6-2 W moving to 1-2-1




The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams turned in strong performances today in a nine team regular season meet at U. Maine. The girls' team recorded a 2nd place finish, just six points behind a good Hampden team, while the boys team came away with a solid 5th place finish. Individually for the girls, Lucy Veilleux finished 1st in the Long Jump and 2nd in the Triple Jump, Ely Briggs was 1st in the High Jump, Ruby Whitmore 3rd in the Hurdles, Kylee Murray 3rd in the Shot Put and Lexi Wesley finished 3rd in the 400M Run, while the 4x800M Relay team of Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Lily Heitmann finished 1st and the 4x200M Relay team of Mikayla Johnston, Olivia Barthelemy, Wesley & Whitmore was 2nd. The boys' team received a 1st place finish from the 4x800M Relay team of Cooper Neely, Kaiden Plourde, Kameron Plourde & Hayna Francis and a 2nd place finish from the 4x200M Relay team of
Andrew Wolfertz, Neely, Kaiden Plourde & Francis and received 3rd place finishes from Francis in the 800M Run, Wolfertz in the Shot Put, Parker Day in the High Jump and Noah Briggs in the Triple Jump. The teams are now off for two weeks, when they'll be back at U. Maine on January 13th.

One last game before the holiday for the Boys Basketball 🏀 team as they welcomed FA to Mackenzie - JV continuing dominance with a 63-38 W and Varsity moving to 5-0 on the season with a solid 65-28 W - a little break till Hermon comes to town!



Update - Due to the lack of Volenteer sign up for Boosters today, we will not have concessions at our basketball 🏀 games. In the future I hope we can get people to volunteer sometime.

Mother Nature threw a curve at us this week that lead to us losing our home ice - But that did not stop OTO Black Bears 🐻 from hosting Brewer at PCIA in Dover - Bears 🐻 didn't get the outcome they wanted with a 5-2 L - the bears back at it after the holiday's!


Lady Coyotes hosting FA at Mackenzie tonight - JV with most exciting W of the night 27-24 - Varsity cruising to a 56-17 W moving 5-0 on the season, but more importantly they earned Hall of Fame Coach Heather Richards in her 100th Win of her career! Coach Richards In her 11th season is 100-83 all time, going 40-1 in the last 3 regular seasons, and 80-13 in the regular season over the past 5 seasons. An unbelievable run for our fearless leader of Coyote Nation! Congratulations Coach!




The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams were back in action today at U.Maine in another ten team league meet, including strong Class A schools Bangor and Hampden, with the girls team finishing up in 4th place, while the boys team finished 6th. Leading the way for the girls were Lucy Veilleux with a 1st in the Triple Jump and a 3rd in the Long Jump, Ely Briggs 1st in the High Jump, Kylee Murray 2nd in the Shot Put, Lilly Mitchell 3rd in the Hurdles and the 4x800M Relay team of Chloe Henry, Liz Preble, Phoebe Yerxa & Lily Heitmann who finished 3rd. For the boys, the 4x200M Relay team of Andrew Wolfertz, Cooper Neely, Kaiden Plourde & Hayna Francis and the 4x800M Relay team of Neely, Kaiden Plourde, Kameron Plourde & Francis both finished 2nd while Noah Briggs finished up 3rd in the Triple Jump. The teams are back at U.Maine next Friday afternoon.


LMS Basketball teams will now play Brewer on Wed. Jan 10.
Girls play at Brewer at 3:30. A/B
Boys play Home at 3:30. A/B


Coyote Boys Basketball 🏀 continued on the W train tonight in Mackenzie Gym as the team moved to 4-0 with a 51-34 win over Houlton - JV on a hot streak with every member posting points tonight with a 81-33 W - Ponies attempt to ride into town on Saturday!



Being in Education we are always telling kids to follow dreams and move toward goals - What better way to solidify the point then to show them in your own gym. Coyote Nation being represented tonight by our very own Mr. Scott Gordon, following his dream and representing his community! Coyote Nation is proud of you!
