events June 10th Week

Sophomore Elyannah Briggs represented Old Town High School today at the New England Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at the University of New Hampshire. She finished tied for 12th in the High Jump with a jump of 5'-0", congratulations Ely, way to finish off an amazing season in the High Jump!

LMS Baseball and Softball teams played under the lights last night at Brewer. The softball team battled a tough witches team but ended with a 13-9 loss. The Baseball team had a great showing, winning 2-1! We will be keeping a close eye on the weather but for now, teams will be back in action tonight at Reeds Brook.

OTHS Boys Tennis 🎾 traveling to the County to play Semi-Final tennis v. #2 Caribou - Boys battled hard bringing many of the sets to the 3rd round, but ultimately losing 4 - 1.... Very competitive and fun season for our team! Onto the next season!

OTHS baseball season ended unexpectedly today as we hosted #6 Caribou - Slow start lead to being down the whole game as Caribou wins 12-2 - Always tough to lose, especially for our senior members - A lot to be proud of though... Onto next season!

Due to lightening and field conditions - OTHS v. Lawrence is postponed till tomorrow, Thursday June 6th at 11 AM - We understand that this is not ideal, we are sorry, but Lawrence is graduating and OTHS has scholarship and Awards night - it is a busy time of year - 92.9 will be broadcasting the game for people to view....

Due to the incoming weather, tonights LMS Baseball and Softball games at Brewer have been moved to tomorrow, same time.

LMS Baseball and Softball teams were on the road for a couple games at Sumner yesterday. The softball team had a great showing but ended up with a loss 10-9. The Baseball team took a commanding win! Teams are back in action tonight under the lights in Brewer.

Game Update - OTHS Softball will be playing Lawrence on Wednesday, June 5th at 4:30 PM - this is a time change for this game.... Go Yotes Go!

OTHS Girls Tennis 🎾 finished the season on the road today as they took on Waterville in the Quarter-Final match - Girls ended up losing 4-1, great season for our team and we get most of them back to battle next year!

Boys Tennis Update 🎾 - Boys will be traveling to Caribou tomorrow to play in the semi-finals tennis match for Class B North - Bus will be 9:30 AM from the High School...

Quarter-Final Boys Tennis 🎾 action at OT Community Courts - OTHS 5 - 0 PI - OTHS advances to the Semi-Final round that is either in Caribou or Home on Wednesday...

Busy Busy Week for all.... ohh hey, and weather coming!

The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams finished up the season today at the Class B State Meet at MDI High School. The girls' team finished up in 8th place and received an individual state championship from Ely Briggs with a season best jump of 5-2, a third place finish from Emma Mushero in the 1600M Racewalk, a 4th in the Long Jump and a 5th in the Triple Jump from Lucy Veilleux, a 5th in the Shot Put and an 8th in Discus from Kylee Murray, a 6th from the 4x100M Relay team of Olivia Lizzotte, Libby Saucier, Ruby Whitmore & Veilleux and a 7th from the 4x400M Relay team of Lexi Wesley, Mikayla Johnston, Whitmore & Olivia Barthelemy. For the boys' team, who finished tied 22nd, Hayna Francis led the way with a 7th place finish in the 800M Run. Congratulations to all team members on a successful and enjoyable season.

LMS Baseball and Softball teams traveled to Doughty yesterday afternoon and came away with a pair of wins! Next week, teams have a busy road schedule to wrap up their season. 6/4 @ Sumner, 6/5 @ Brewer and 6/7 @ Reeds Brook.
