LMS Winter Sports Update: Basketball try-outs begin Monday Nov 6, Boys 3:30-5, Girls 5-6:30. Cheering try-outs begin Monday Nov 13 from 3:30-5.
In order to try-out for a winter sport students must be signed-up and have the required paperwork turned in by this Friday Nov 3!

On a night full of Tricks 🎃, the #6 Coyotes walk away with a huge and much deserved Treat 👻 as they upset the #3 Belfast Lions on the road for Prelim Football 🏈- Coyotes move on to the Quarter-Final Game v. John Bapst on Saturday, 3 PM at Cameron Stadium in Bangor! Nice Work!



Updates for Winter Sports - The Winter Sport signup is live and in student emails - Also, we will have Winter Sports Parent/Player meeting on Nov. 15th at OTHS, Swim meeting for boys and girls is on Monday, Nov 6th at 4 PM - Bring on the new sports season !

Update Regarding Athletics Events - Due to current events and the status of Maine we are moving the OTHS Football 🏈 @ Belfast to 5 PM on Tuesday, 10/31
The Cross Country State Championships are moved to Nov. 4th - same times and same locations.


LMS Soccer teams wrapped their season at Brewer today. The girls played first and ended with a 0-0 tie. The boys followed with a hard fought 4-0 loss. Great job to both teams on a successful season!


LMS Football ended their season at Victory field this afternoon vs. Nokomis. The team kept fighting until the final whistle but fell 25-12. Great job on an excellent season!


LMS Field Hockey ended their season last night at Old Town High School vs. the Warriors from Nokomis. The team battled hard but fell 5-0. The developmental team also fell 8-0. The score did not match the positivity coming from the LMS bench that did not let up even as the sun went down. Way to represent Coyote Nation!


OTHS on the road to #2 Cony High School for Class B quarterfinals - 🏑 Field Hockey 🏑 ended the season with a 6-0 Loss to a talented Cony program - Thank you coaches, players, and fans for a great season,

OTHS Girls Soccer ⚽️ finishing out the season with a quarterfinal match v. Ellsworth - Girls lost 1-0 with 80 minutes of play - thank you members of the team for a memorable season of soccer 🥅 for all!


7 multi sport athletes from OTHS got the pleasure of attending a great presentation on Leadership from legendary speaker and coach Rob Miller - Students learned about the 7 pillars of leadership and the importance they play in team sports at OTHS - PVC Summit 2023





JV Football 🏈 playing host to JB at the mud-bowl 2023 at Victory Field - JB slipping and sliding to a 32-14 with plenty of cow bell support! JV back in action for the last game of the season v. Belfast....


Athletics and Events - Oct. 22nd Week


OTHS Cheer with the 1st place at the Game Day Cheer and earning the title of Small School Game Day Cheer Champions!!! OTHS very own Morgan Davis got the individual spirit award for the competition!




The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams were in action today at the Class B Northern Regional XC Championships in Belfast. The girls team qualified for next Saturday's Class B State Meet, back in Belfast, with a solid 4th place finish in the team results, led individually by Lida Kanoti in 9th and Lily Heitman in 11th, and received strong performances from Liz Preble, with a course personal best time, Chloe Henry, Lexi Wesley and Zoe Yerxa. For the boys, Hayna Francis qualified individually for the State Meet as well, finishing 19th with a course personal best time of 18:38, while Griffen Henderson rounded out the day for the boys with a good performance as well.


Tonight was not about the score, it was about celebration... A 42-6 game was played but it was about the appreciation, the seniors, and calling attention to a cause.... Tonight the Yote Football and Cheer Seniors took to Victory Field one last time and doing it while calling attention to Breast Cancer Awareness- Thank you all seniors for the years of dedication and leadership to your programs!


OTHS Boys Soccer ⚽️ season ended on the road today in Gardiner - Boys played a tough game into the second half but fell short in the prelim matchup 4-0 - this wraps up the season for the Yotes - banquet will be on Thursday Oct. 26th 6 PM


Lady Coyotes advance to Quarterfinals with 8-0 win over the Belfast Lions. Seniors Makayla E. and Alexis D. lead the way in scoring each netting 2 goals a piece. Karina D., Olivia L., Ava B. and Taylor M. all chip in a goal each to finish the scoring for the Lady Coyotes. Karina D. with 2 assists, Ally C, Olivia L. and Saige E. all add an assist each. Danica B. and Keely K. contributed for the shutout on net. Next up the Lady Coyotes will head to Ellsworth to take on the Lady Eagles on Tuesday, 10/24 at 5 PM
