JV Boys/Girls Soccer @ Ellsworth - postponed to Sept. 25th - B 4 PM/ G 6 PM
JV Golf has been postponed to Thursday. Sept 21st - 3:30 PM at Hidden Meadows
Events for the Week!
The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams were in action today at Central High School. Leading the girls to a 2nd place team finish behind a good Orono team was Lida Kanoti with a strong 4th place finish and course personal best, while Lexi Wesley in 6th, Lily Heitmann in 7th, Liz Preble in 10th and Chloe Henry in 11th rounded out the scoring for the girls. For the boys, Hayna Francis turned in a strong performance, running a course personal best on his way to a solid 4th place finish, while first year runner Griffin Henderson finished up in 22nd. Next up, the teams host the 73rd Sectional Cross Country Invitational at home on Saturday.

The Calm before the storm netted the Coyotes with a 2 loss night in Ellsworth - Girls Soccer ⚽️ with the first loss of the season 2-0 to the Eagles and the Boys Varsity Soccer ⚽️ with a 4-0 Loss to the Eagles.... Storm break will be good for the Coyotes to reset and recoup...

It was a great afternoon for the LMS Coyotes with four teams getting their seasons underway!
-Girls Soccer faced a tough Reeds Brook team and came away 0-1 on the season.
-Boys Soccer also squared off against Reeds Brooks today but after a hard fought battle the boys fell 4-3.
-The LMS XC team was also on the road today at Mattanawcook Academy and had a strong showing by all team members!
-Finally the LMS Field Hockey team took on Brewer at home and came away with a 0-0 tie.

Finishing out the Orono Swing of athletics was the OTHS Field Hockey team as they traveled over to Orono - Ladies made it exciting as they brought it to double overtime, but ended up losing 3-2 and moving the team to 3-2 on the season....
Lady Coyotes win at home vs. the Orono Red Riots 7-1. Karina D. & Rhiannon B. each with 2 goals. Lucy V., Taylor M. & Lexi D. 1 goal a piece. Danica B. contributed in net. Varsity plays again tomorrow in Ellsworth @ 4pm.

A little golf action today at Hidden Meadows - our senior match for our 1 participating Senior Charlotte Blanchard - Tri-Match had the Yotes coming away 1-1 on the night - Hampden 169, Old Town 181, Herman 215 - Charlotte 41 Nate 43 Ridge 48 Michael 50 Sam 49 Brady 48 Reily 61 Julian 49 are the scores for the team! OTHS Boys Soccer ⚽️ playing down the river and through the woods to Orono HS tonight and picking up the first W of the season - Thibeault with a pair of goals to pull off a 2-0 W - JV played after but fell 1-0 on a hard fought game... off to the land of the Eagles on Friday!

LMS football took on the Brewer Witches at Victory Field this afternoon. The Coyotes bounced back from last week to pick up their first win of the season 14-6! Well done team!
