Final games of the '24 season for Coyote ⚾️/ 🥎 on the road to John Bapst - Both teams finishing the season 12-4 - Softball with a 8-2 W and Baseball with a 14-2 W - final heals coming but looking Baseball will go 3 and Softball will go 2 in heals - scrimmages on Saturday!
The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams sent twenty-three freshman team members to the PVC Frosh Championship Meet today at Hampden Academy. The girls' team received individual 1st place finishes from Ruby Whitmore in the 300M Hurdles and Long Jump, Emma Mushero in the 1600M Racewalk and Lily Heitmann in the 3200M Run and a 1st place from the 4x100M Relay team of Nevaeh York, Marley Malbon, Whitmore & Lucy Veilleux and got a 2nd from Veilleux in the Triple Jump, a 4th from the 4x400M Relay team of Liz Preble, Phoebe Yerxa, Mushero & Heitmann, a 5th from Yerxa in the 800M Run and 6th place finishes from Preble in the 800M Run and High Jump. While the boys team received a 3rd place finish from the 4x100M Relay A team of Evan Reardon, Kason Goplerud, Logan Dodge & Noah Briggs, a 4th from Marcus Cote in the 400M Run, 5th place finishes from the 4x100M Relay B team of Talon Holt, Mackinnon
Speed, Tommy King & Cote, the 4x400M Relay team of Reardon, Dodge, Connor Spencer & Cote and Briggs in the High Jump & Long Jump and also got a 6th from Reardon in the Long Jump. Next up is the Class B State Meet at MDI on Saturday.
We found a way to get the last OTHS "home" games in v. Orono - Baseball ⚾️ at Mahanny for Senior night coming away with a 8-2 W - Softball 🥎 at OTHS coming away with the 2-1 9th inning W - Thank you to all the seniors and the time in the program - Onto JB tomorrow...
UPDATE!!!! We are able to get our softball 🥎 field ready.... we will move the softball 🥎 game v. Orono BACK to OTHS at 4:30 PM
Senior Game Update - due to field conditions, we have moved our home games to UMaine for Softball and Baseball - Baseball at 4:30 PM/ Softball at 7 PM - we know this is not ideal, but the MPA last playable is tomorrow, and we have a game scheduled at JB already. Apologies...

Friday had the Yotes competing against the Trojans from MDI at all levels of ⚾️ and 🥎- huge win for the baseball team 2-1 W, followed by a 6-2 W from Softball, and ended with a 14-1W for JV Baseball - completing the 🧹 of MDI!
The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams were in action today at the PVC Large School Championship Meet in Brewer. Point scorers for the girls team, who finished 4th in the team standings, were Lucy Veilleux with a 1st in Long Jump and 3rd in Triple Jump, Ely Briggs with a 1st in High Jump, Emma Mushero with a 2nd in the 1600 Racewalk, Kylee Murray with a 3rd in Javelin and a 5th in Shot Put, Lily Heitmann with a 4th in the 3200M Run, Makenzie Rodriguez with a 5th in Long Jump, Oliva Lizzotte with a 6th in Javelin, a 3rd place finish by the 4x100M Relay team of Lizzotte, Libby Saucier, Ruby Whitmore & Veilleux, and received 4th place finishes from the 4x400M Relay team of Lexi Wesley, Mikayla Johnston, Whitmore & Olivia Barthelemy and the 4x800M Relay team of Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Heitmann. For the boys team, who finished 9th overall, Hayna Francis was 3rd in the 800M Run and
4th in the Long Jump, and Killian Pottle finished 4th in the Javelin. The teams close out the season next week with the Freshman Championship Meet in Hampden on Tuesday and the Class B State Meet next Saturday at MDI.

LMS Baseball and Softball teams played in their last home games of the season yesterday. The boys hung with the tough Cohen team for most the game, but ended with a 6-1 loss. The girls took a dominating win 16-3. Teams are on the road next week at Doughty.
Members of the Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams kicked off Championship Meet season in Brewer on Tuesday at the PVC JV Championship Meet. The girls received individual JV Championships from Liz Preble in the 800M, Marley Malbon in the 200M, Maddie Moore in the High Jump and Ava Harvey in the Triple Jump, and a first place finish in the 4x100M Relay from the team of Harvey, Rhiannon Bousquet, Nevaeh York & Malbon, and got an individual runner-up finish from Chloe Henry in the 800M. The boys received an individual JV Championship from Tyler Michaud in the Triple Jump, and received 2nd place finishes from Tommy King in the High Jump and the 4x100M Relay team of Lucas Bartkiewicz, Kason Goplerud, Michaud & Evan Reardon and a 3rd place finish from Josh Wolfertz in the Shot Put. Up next is the PVC Large School Championship Meet, back in Brewer on Saturday.
OTHS Tennis 🎾 home for a last time, playing host to the Hawks - Senior night bringing a 4-1 W for the Boys program, 3-2 L for the Girls program - Thank You Senior Members for the years of dedication to the program! Onto FA tomorrow!

Athletics for the week of May 20th - The complex will be very busy on Monday, May 20th, and Friday, May 24th, due to OTHS hosting large track meets. We also have home sporting events on the tennis courts and baseball fields.
Parking lots and Stillwater Ave will be busy, and a lot of people will be present. This is a heads-up: Please prepare for delays and plenty of people at our complex!
