
OTHS Field Hockey 🏑 making it exciting and going to double overtime again this season @ JB - Ladies pulled off a 1-0 win with a goal from Taylor L. to Natalie B. to Lindsey M. for the goal! Annnnndddddd JV finally got a game and walked away with a 3-0 W with goals from Molly A., Kara L., and Ella D..... Brewer up next on Friday!


The Lady Coyotes traveled to MDI this afternoon to take on the Trojans. JV started off with a 1-0 win, Lucy V. with the lone goal. Keely K. had the shutout in net. Varsity following with an 8-0 win. Rhiannon B. with a hat trick, Lexi D. and Mikayla J. chipped in two goals a piece, and Karina D. with one. Olivia L. had three assists on the game and Danica B. had the shutout in net.


OTHS Golf ⛳️ playing the gem of the North JaTo GC for the PVC Championship and State Qualifier - although the team did not qualify, OT did represent and walk away with some awesome hardware - Charlotte Blanchard (90) and Nate Baker (74) both awarded PVC Champion and Low Medalist awards - Both will go on to represent OTHS at the States next weekend!

LMS soccer teams were in action this afternoon taking on Ellsworth at home. The girls team played well in the second half but ended up with a 4-2 loss. The boys had a scoring battle with the Eagles, but in the end, it was a hat trick by Cullen L and Jack D that lifted the Coyotes to victory 6-5! Soccer plays home again next Tuesday 10/3 vs Hermon.


Completing the JV Sports day was the JV Football 🏈 team with a home game v. JB at Victory Field - High flying aggressive offense coupled with a few key defensive scores got the Coyotes a 42 - 33 W over the Crusaders of JB.... H.A. On the road next for the Yotes!


JV Lady Coyotes traveled to the Ellsworth Eagles this evening for a hard fought battle. Score was 0-0 with 10 minutes remaining and Ellsworth scored 2 back to back goals. Taylor M. got the coyotes on the board with 1 lone goal. Keely K. contributed in net. Lady Coyotes back in action tomorrow as they head to MDI.
JV Boys played to a 1-0 loss, started pretty slow at first, but the Coyotes finished strong. Game ended up playing 11v11 with the help of Ellsworth - back in action at MDI on Wednesday....



Events for the Week of Sept 25th


Wrapping up RIVERFEST week for the Coyotes was Boys Soccer v. a strong Caribou Viking program - JV lost a hard fought 3-0 game, followed by a 3-0 loss for Varsity on Victory Field... Coyotes away next week with the first games in Ellsworth and MDI.... one tired AD signing off after 70+ hours of Riverfest Fun! 🤩


The Lady Coyotes took on the Lady Vikings this afternoon. First up was JV with a 5-1 win. Lucy V. with a hat trick, Taylor M. and Ava H. each with a goal a piece. Keely K contributed in net. Varsity continued with a 3-0 win. Michaela J., Rhiannon B., and Olivia L. each with a goal. Danica B. contributed in net.


The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams hosted the 73rd Sectional Cross Country Invitational today and welcomed 20 schools to their home course. Leading the way for the girls were junior Lida Kanoti in 7th with a course personal best time and Freshman Lily Heitmann right behind her in 8th. Junior Hayna Francis led the boys with a personal best course time and a 25th place finish. The team also recognized senior Zoe Yerxa today and would like to thank her for four years of dedication and commitment to the OTHS Cross Country program. The teams are back in action next week at the prestigious Festival of Champions Meet in Belfast.





Ok, let's get the score out of the way, Yes the Football team lost 31-6, moved to 0-4 on the season. The real take away from this game was the team never stopped playing. Yotes played till the last down, which happened to be a touchdown for us! Keep your heads up, the W will come!



LMS Field Hockey was home again this afternoon hosting the Hermon Hawks. Both teams worked hard but the score was 0-0 going into the 4th quarter. Finally in the last minutes of the a game, a goal from Neveah M, assisted from Delany T, lifted the Coyotes to victory. Great job ladies!


LMS Field Hockey hosted Reeds Brook on this fine afternoon. The girls fought hard but Broncos took the win with the final score being 7-0. Field Hockey is home again tomorrow vs. Hermon.


The LMS Boys and Girls Soccer teams were back in action again this afternoon at Doughty. The girls ended with a 6-1 loss and move to 0-3 on the season. The Boys came away with a 7-0 victory moving them 1-2 on the season. Great win boys!


Lady Coyotes Soccer ⚽️ kicking off Riverfest weekend with a home game v. John Bapst - JV Team up first with a solid 2-0 W - Varsity next with a well played 2-1 W against JB and moving to 4-2 on the year and in 7th for heal points - Vikings up next on Saturday


Couple of Boys Soccer games on the grass of Victory Field tonight as we welcomed Presque Isle to town - JV with a good hard fought game that ended with a 7-1 L - Varsity played to a 1-1 Draw and moved to 1-4-1 on the year and 10th in heals...


Field Hockey 🏑 moving 4-3 on the year with a 1-0 Loss to cross the river and down the woods rival Orono tonight at UMaine. Beautiful facility hosted a tough fought match that saw plenty of chances for the Coyotes to equalize.


The LMS Football team traveled to Hermon today. The team fought hard but ultimately fell 53-12. Football plays at Victory Field next Wednesday Sept. 27 vs. Oceanside at 4:00.


The LMS Girls and Boys Soccer teams traveled to Bangor this afternoon and faced a couple of tough Cohen teams. After a mixup in playing order, the girls played first and fell 7-2. The boys followed with a 5-0 defeat.
The LMS Coyotes must make a quick turn around as they are traveling to Doughty tomorrow. Boys play first at 3:00, followed by the girls.
