Tonight's big Orono v. Old Town Basketball 🏀 Game - This game is a first come, first serve game, we are not pre-selling tickets! We will be counting at the door to establish capacity - WE WILL HAVE CLEARLY MARKED STUDENT SECTIONS (Orono Section E/ OT Section D) - Behind the OT Bench will be an OT Section for staff, family, and Friends - Should be a great NIGHT!
LMS Boys Basketball traveled to Bangor yesterday for a couple games at the William S Cohen School. The B team played in another close game but ended with a 38-33 loss. The A team also came away with a loss, 54-39. The boys are back in action Wednesday with Brewer at home. This is a make up game from 12/18 so "A" teams will play first. We will yet again be keeping an eye on the weather, stay tuned.
LMS Girls Basketball teams faced a couple of tough Cohen teams at OTES yesterday afternoon. The B team ended with a 74-7 loss, followed by a close A game until the 4th quarter where Cohen pulled away to a 48-38 victory. The girls are back in action Wednesday at Brewer. This is a make up game from 12/18 so "A" teams will play first. Obviously, we will be watching the weather yet again, stay tuned.

A quick turnaround for the Black Bears 🐻 as they faced a strong St. Dom's team on the road - Norway Savings Bank Arena saw some good hockey 🏒 that ended with a 5-2 L for the 🐻 - Wildcats on Friday up on the county!

Boys Basketball 🏀 traveling down to the Island, hoping to maintain the top spot in Big East Basketball - Boys struggled for 3 quarters but pulled away in the 4th to stay unbeaten 59-48 W - JV had an off day with a 62-50L - a little break before Orono rolls in - first come/first serve game at Mackenzie!
OTO traveling a little down the road to PIA for a little action against the Witches - Very well played game that featured a goal from the McCannell brothers as the Black 🐻 earn a 3-2 W - JV played to a 5-1 L with a tired/injured team - day rest before OTO head to St. Dom's!
NPV Swim 🏊 🏊♂️with the 2nd home meet of the season hosting Camden at OT Community Pool - Girls faced a tough & talented team with a 122-55 L - Boys made it extremely interesting, slightly edged out Camden 58-57 W - Short turn around for the teams as they face Belfast on Tuesday!
Girls Basketball 🏀 traveled to the coast tonight to wrap up a week of basketball - JV started the night with a 42-28 L against MDI - Varsity improved to 7-1 with a 47-28 W road win on the Island.... a much needed couple day break for the girls as they welcome WA Wednesday...
Boys Games Tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 6th - JV plays at Bangor HS at 9 AM, Bus 8 AM - Then the team moves to MDI for a JV 4 PM/Var 5:30 PM Game - MDI stream can be found on Hudl TV app and search for our schools (MDI or OTHS)

Mackenzie jumping again as the boys welcomed the Eagles for a matchup of the top teams in the Big East - JV kicked off the winning with a 54-47 W - Varsity followed with a hard fought 64-52 W, remaining undefeated in class B North Basketball 🏀 - MDI Saturday!
LMS Boys Basketball teams played Ellsworth at OTES this afternoon. The B team played in a tight game that went to overtime. But came away with a loss 53-48. The A team finished with a solid win 64-41. Up next, the boys travel to Cohen on Monday. Shout to the LMS Cheering team for your support at today games!
LMS Girls Basketball teams faced a couple of tough Ellsworth teams on the road this afternoon. Both teams are heading home with a loss. B team final 24-8, A team final 35-32. The girls are back in action Monday vs. Cohen at OTES.
Battle of the Big East Titans as the Lady Coyotes 🐺 face the Ellsworth Eagles 🦅 - 4 straight quarters of battling but the Eagles come out on top this round with a 53-48 W against the Yotes - JV also fell to the Eagles 43-22 - Ladies move to 6-1 on the year!
OTO Hockey 🥅 Welcoming GWW to the Alfond tonight for a little frozen water 🧊 action - Black Bears 🐻 came out swinging scoring 12 goals to GWW 4 - 🐻 move to 2-2-1 on the season - JV playing host to newly formed FA Hockey 🏒 and skate away with an 8-0 W - Witches on Saturday!
