
The LMS Boys and Girls Soccer teams were back in action again this afternoon at Doughty. The girls ended with a 6-1 loss and move to 0-3 on the season. The Boys came away with a 7-0 victory moving them 1-2 on the season. Great win boys!

Couple of Boys Soccer games on the grass of Victory Field tonight as we welcomed Presque Isle to town - JV with a good hard fought game that ended with a 7-1 L - Varsity played to a 1-1 Draw and moved to 1-4-1 on the year and 10th in heals...


Field Hockey 🏑 moving 4-3 on the year with a 1-0 Loss to cross the river and down the woods rival Orono tonight at UMaine. Beautiful facility hosted a tough fought match that saw plenty of chances for the Coyotes to equalize.


The LMS Football team traveled to Hermon today. The team fought hard but ultimately fell 53-12. Football plays at Victory Field next Wednesday Sept. 27 vs. Oceanside at 4:00.


The LMS Girls and Boys Soccer teams traveled to Bangor this afternoon and faced a couple of tough Cohen teams. After a mixup in playing order, the girls played first and fell 7-2. The boys followed with a 5-0 defeat.
The LMS Coyotes must make a quick turn around as they are traveling to Doughty tomorrow. Boys play first at 3:00, followed by the girls.

Todays LMS Field Hockey game vs Hermon has been moved to Friday 9/22 due to poor field conditions. There will also be no field hockey practice today.


LMS Practice Update:
There will be no Field Hockey, Boys Soccer or Cross Country practice today.
Girls Soccer and Football are still on.
Fall Sports pictures will still go as planned right after dismissal.


Mother Nature first takes our beautiful signs, now it's taking more of our Athletics - here are the following changes:
JV Football v. Belfast - postponed to Oct. 30th at 4 PM
JV Boys/Girls Soccer @ Ellsworth - postponed to Sept. 25th - B 4 PM/ G 6 PM
JV Golf has been postponed to Thursday. Sept 21st - 3:30 PM at Hidden Meadows


Events for the Week!


The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams were in action today at Central High School. Leading the girls to a 2nd place team finish behind a good Orono team was Lida Kanoti with a strong 4th place finish and course personal best, while Lexi Wesley in 6th, Lily Heitmann in 7th, Liz Preble in 10th and Chloe Henry in 11th rounded out the scoring for the girls. For the boys, Hayna Francis turned in a strong performance, running a course personal best on his way to a solid 4th place finish, while first year runner Griffin Henderson finished up in 22nd. Next up, the teams host the 73rd Sectional Cross Country Invitational at home on Saturday.


Not the finish they wanted, OT Football 🏈 falling to Belfast 14-7 in a tough match - see the JV in action on Monday at 6 PM at Victory Field


The Calm before the storm netted the Coyotes with a 2 loss night in Ellsworth - Girls Soccer ⚽️ with the first loss of the season 2-0 to the Eagles and the Boys Varsity Soccer ⚽️ with a 4-0 Loss to the Eagles.... Storm break will be good for the Coyotes to reset and recoup...

It was a great afternoon for the LMS Coyotes with four teams getting their seasons underway!
-Girls Soccer faced a tough Reeds Brook team and came away 0-1 on the season.
-Boys Soccer also squared off against Reeds Brooks today but after a hard fought battle the boys fell 4-3.
-The LMS XC team was also on the road today at Mattanawcook Academy and had a strong showing by all team members!
-Finally the LMS Field Hockey team took on Brewer at home and came away with a 0-0 tie.
