LMS Baseball and Softball teams hosted the Hermon Hawks at home this afternoon. Both teams played hard but ended with a pair of losses. Teams will need to regroup as Reeds Brook comes to town on Friday.


Tennis 🎾 rolling along with the final home match of the year as MDI came to OT Community Courts - OT continued the winning with the boys winning 4-1, girls still UNDEFEATED with a 4-1W - Tonight we got to celebrate our seniors and thank you for your time with the program!











A couple of 8 run games for the Yotes at Victory Fields this afternoon v. Orono - Baseball ⚾️ worked to a 8-1W moving to 4-2 on the season - Softball 🥎 also played to a 8-0W moving to 3-3 on the season - Crusaders in town later this week!



A full day of tennis 🎾 for the Coyotes - First off was the PVC Tennis Doubles tournament and the top 3 teams move onto the MPA Doubles Tournament- OT had two teams qualify - Boys Rackcliffe/Marquis - Girls Mickel/Davis - Both teams went 3-0 and qualify for Thursday - Beyond that, the teams traveled to Orono for a regular season matchup - Boys with a 4-1L and the Girls still undefeated with a 5-0W! Senior Meet tomorrow




Today's PVC Doubles qualifier has been postponed to Monday, May 12th - Girls site will be at Brewer HS and Boys site will be at OTHS - Matches start at 9 AM


JV Baseball ⚾️ and Softball 🥎 back in action v. Brewer - We got the games in before the rain thankfully - Softball gained some more experience but fell 12-1L - Baseball continued dominating the diamond with a 9-1W - Some more games for the teams next week as long as Mother Nature helps!


The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams were in action on Friday afternoon in a five team meet at the Victory Field Track Complex. The girls team finished up in 2nd place behind a good Hampden team, led by Olivia Lizzotte with a 1st in Javelin, 2nd in the 200 & 3rd in the 100, Ely Briggs with a 1st in the 300 Hurdles, 2nd in High Jump & 4th in Long Jump, Kylee Murray with a 1st in Discus & 2nd in Javelin and Olivia Ketch with a 1st in Shot Put & 2nd in Discus. Also scoring individually for the girls were Emma Mushero with a 1st the Racewalk, Lily Heitmann with a 2nd in the 3200, Taylor Loring with a 3rd in the 800, they also received 4th place finishes from Ruby Whitmore in the 300 Hurdles, Libby Saucier in the 200 & Emma Ketch in the Shot Put and 5th places from Mikayla Johnston in the 200, Lily Rand in the Javelin & Crystal Thacker in the Shot Put. In the relays, the 4x100 team of Lizzotte, Saucier, Olivia Barthelemy & Johnston and the 4x800 team of Lexi Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Loring both finished 1st and the 4x400 team of Barthelemy, Johnston, Saucier & Loring finished 2nd.
For the boys team, who also finished in 2nd place behind Hampden, Hayna Francis with a 1st in the 800, Noah Briggs with a 1st in High Jump & Sam Cote with a 2nd in Discus & 3rd in High Jump led the way, while Tyler Michaud was 2nd in Triple Jump, Joey Porter was 3rd in Shot Put & 4th in Discus, Maximus Ramos was 3rd in the 1600, Alex Roach was 3rd in the 3200, CJ Yanush was 4th in the 400, Hunter Stoup was 4th in both the Triple Jump & High Jump and Austin King in the 200, Marcus Cote in Triple Jump & Miles Felcman in Discus all finished 5th. For the relays, the 4x100 team of Chase Dodge, Logan Dodge, DJ Davis & King finished 2nd and the 4x400 team of Yanush, Ramos, Marcus Cote & Francis finished 3rd. Next up for the teams is a meet at the new Hermon track next Thursday.


A little Tennis 🎾 action before the rain this weekend as the Coyotes played host to John Bapst - Boys made it interesting but moved to 5-3 on the year with a 3-2W - Girls continued rolling with an impressive 4-1W and still remain undefeated on the season... Riots on Monday, with a little Doubles Tournament action in the AM!


Tough day all around for the Coyotes as they faced off against Hermon in softball and baseball - Close games at both sites and the Coyotes made it interesting but the Hawks pulled a 3-2 W in 🥎 and a 6-5 W in ⚾️ - little break for the teams until next week...

Game Update - Due to Baseball ⚾️ field conditions, Today's Varsity Baseball game v. Hermon has been moved to UMaine Mahanny Diamond for a 5 PM Start. Varsity Softball 🥎 is still being played at OTHS at 4:30 PM.

OTHs Varsity Tennis 🎾 traveled down almost to the Ocean for a match against the Eagles 🦅- Mother Nature cooperated and saw the Coyotes continue dominance on the courts - Boys 5-0W, Girls 3-2 hard fought win! See if the weather holds for Friday!


Some exciting games finally for our JV programs last night as the Coyotes were in action at campus and UMaine. JV Tennis 🎾 hosted MDI and played 26 matches, winning 11 out right! JV Baseball ⚾️ had another dominating short game as they hosted Bucksport at UMaine 16-0W. JV Softball 🥎 finally on the field for the first game of the season v. Bucksport, once the team settles we will see the potential 16-1L.... Hopefully Mother Nature helps to get more games in!




Game Update - JV Baseball/Softball v. Bucksport have been moved to UMaine tonight. This is due to field conditions currently. The games are scheduled to start at 7:30 PM, but we will start directly following the Orono HS games.

LMS baseball and softball were back in action today for their first road games of the season at Nokomis. The girls faced a strong Warriors team coming away with a tough loss. The boys showed great base running and defensive stops that helped secure a 3-3 tie. Great work teams!
