LMS field hockey kicked off their long weekend with a great win over the Hawks this afternoon 6-1! The team will get some rest before heading to Hocktoberfest at Thomas College on Sunday.




What a beautiful October Night it turned out to be for the great game of soccer ⚽️- Boys team up to play host to the Orono Red Riots - JV playing to a 10-0 loss battling a short roster and injuries - Varsity next playing a hard fought game till the end 9-1 L.... onto the next!




LMS Cross Country team traveled to Corinth for the Large School Championships this afternoon. Top 30 finishes were had by: Heidi Carlson 21st, Connor Wilson 21st, Aiden Sockbeson 15th, Irvin Batheldor 6th, Stephen Cormier 4th. The boys team finished 2nd overall and is coming home with some hardware! Great job team!

LMS soccer teams avoided the rain (mostly) for a couple games vs the Witches this afternoon. The boys faced skilled brewer team finishing with a 5-1 loss. The girls were scoreless through half time but ended with a 2-1 loss. Teams are home again Tuesday vs Cohen.

Good all game of grass hockey 🏑 played today at Victory Fields as John Bapst came to town. Varsity with the 8-1 W with help from Natalie Fournier 4 goals, Lindsay Mockler 3 goals, 1 assist, Taylor Loring 1 goal, Grace Madden 1 assist, and Phoebe Yerxa 1 assist. JV OT/Brewer combo team score 5-0 W






LMS Field Hockey was on the road last night facing the Witches in Brewer. The team battled the heat and came away with a 9-1 loss. The team will have a couple days of practice before the Hawks come to town on Thursday.

LMS Football with the big W vs Ridgeview tonight! High scoring game came down to the final minutes with the Coyotes up 2 looking for a stop and Rem Hogan with the pick to end the game! Final score 39-37. Great job team! Shout to the YMCA cheer team for the great support and halftime routine. Thank you to Mr. Costello and Dr. Tuell for slinging the snacks!



Apologies for the lateness

The OTHS Cross Country teams competed today at the Festival of Champions Meet in Belfast in one of the largest Cross Country meets held in New England, with over 90 schools and 1700 runners from Maine, Canada and around New England. Today, the girls were unable to have enough runners for a team score, but individually Liz Preble led the way with a meet and course personal best time of 22:50.00, Chloe Henry was next with a meet personal best time of 23:39.73, followed by Linzy Heitmann with a time of 23:50.84 and freshman Izzy Howard with a time of 24:31.82.
For the boys, Alex Roach ran a meet personal best time of 18:55.93 and CJ Yanush finished with a time of 20:07.63.
Next week the teams travel to Hermon on Saturday for the return of the Pendale Invitational.

Victory Field was rocking tonight as we closed out Homecoming Week with a little Friday Night Lights! Coyotes welcomed HA to Victory tonight and after a snow start Coyotes answered with a blocked field goal and then a blocked punt and return 6 - this started the 30+ point run that led the Coyotes to a 42-20 W - A huge thank you to our Student Council, Pep Band, Football Moms, all OTHS Athletics Teams, and countless volunteers for making the return of Homecoming a success! Now, we make next year bigger and better!




LMS soccer teams got a special invite to play under the lights at Center Drive School in Orrington this afternoon. The girls are coming home with a 2-1 loss. The boys finally get back in the winners circle with a 6-0 victory!

LMS XC team finished up their regular season today at Saxl Park. Individual results are as follows: Chloe Lane 34th, Ameila Bonawitz 32nd, Gabby Layman 30th, Zoe Umphrey 14th, Heidi Carlson 7th. Alden Kanoti 37th, Lucas Doty 27th, Danny Pelletier 25th, Vance Carlson 19th, RJ Meigs-McDonald 14th, Connor Wilson 11th, Derek Curtis 10th, Aidan Sockbeson 4th, Irvin Batchelder 3rd and Stevie Cormier 2nd. The boys team added another win, finishing the regular season undefeated! Next week the Team heads to Central for Large School Championships

LMS soccer teams got to play under the lights in Hermon tonight. The girls are coming home with a 10-0 loss. Boys finished with a 3-3 tie. Teams are under the lights again Friday in Orrington.

LMS football played under the lights at Orono tonight and came away with a 48-0 loss, moving to 2-2 on the season. The team will get back to work to prepare for Ridgeview at Victory Field on Monday.
