
Old Town Indoor Track had two girls compete at the New England Indoor Track & Field Championships this past Saturday in Boston. Junior Elyannah Briggs finished tied for 8th (2nd from Maine) in the High Jump, jumping 5'-3" and sophomore Lucy Veilleux finished 13th (also 2nd from Maine) in the Long Jump with a jump of 17'-6". Congratulations to both Elyannah and Lucy for their performances at New England's!

🏀 OTHS Basketball 🏀 members joined Lewis Libby School today to celebrate Student of the Month students and participate in celebratory games. They danced, dunked, and played human hoops for the kids as they celebrated success! Athletics and Community, very important!

Qualified candidates should have great group management skills and experience in a variety of track and field events. Track - Old Town High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Track and Field Coach specializing in the throwing events (Shot Put, Discus, Javelin) to join our coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing student-athletes, a strong background in throwing techniques, and the ability to teach and motivate athletes to excel in their events. This coach will work closely with the Head Track and Field Coach and other coaching staff to develop and implement effective training programs for our track athletes.

Football - Old Town High School seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Varsity Football Coach to lead and develop our high school football program. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of football strategy, coaching principles, and player development while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. The Varsity Football Coach will be responsible for the overall coaching, planning, and management of the football team and will work closely with players, assistant coaches, and school staff.

And that's a wrap on the OTO Black Bears 🐻 season with the last home game against HA - Senior Night for the bears as we say thank you and goodbye to our Seniors - Thank You for the memories and time with our program. JV also wrapped up the season with the late game at the Alfond that showcased some hard friendly play by both teams.



Athletics goes beyond the court, fields, or any playing surface that our Coyotes compete on. Student support goes beyond our student section, it is found with our Pep Band, Cheerleaders, and JROTC - All season long the dedication was seen and experienced by every athlete and coach! Well done Coyote Nation.

Boys NPV Swim braving the freezing temps to Jump into the water at the MPA State meet today at Bowdoin College - 9th place finish for the team with plenty of individual medals coming home! Great season in the water!
200 Yard Medley Relay of Ian Aldrich, Alex Roach, Josh Wolfertz, and Jack Marquis finished 6th with a time of 1:51:15, Ian Aldrich Finished 4th in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 58.97, Alex Roach in the 100 Breast finished 8th with a time of 1:05.82,





The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams closed the season on a high note at the Class B Indoor Track State Meet at Bates College in Lewiston on Saturday night with very successful finishes. The girls' team recorded a strong 3rd place finish, their highest since a 3rd in 2017, while the boys team also finished in the top ten, after missing it last year, with a solid 8th place finish. Individually for the girls, Ely Briggs remained undefeated in the High Jump this season winning it with a jump of 5'-2" and qualifying for New England's, Lucy Veilleux finished the day as the team’s top point scorer with a 2nd in Long Jump and a 3rd in Triple Jump and also qualified for New England's in the Long Jump, Olivia Lizzotte finished 6th in the 55M with a personal best 7.64, while the 4x200M Relay team of Lizzotte, Mikayla Johnston, Olivia Barthelemy & Emily Wheeler finished 4th and the 4x800M Relay team of Lexi Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Meredith Cyr finished 5th. For the boys team, Noah Briggs finished 4th in the Triple Jump & tied 4th in the High Jump, Hayna Francis was 5th in Long Jump, CJ Yanush placed 8th in the Hurdles and the 4x800M Relay team of Cooper Neely, Kaiden Plourde, Kameron Plourde & Francis finished 3rd and the 4x200M Relay team of Aidan Sucy, Neely, Kaiden Plourde & Yanush finished tied 8th. Thanks to all team members for another enjoyable and successful season.



A great day for a swim! Girls NPV Swim with a 9th place finish at the Class B States today at Bowdoin College. Great finishes by all members of the team and individual/team hardware coming back to Old Town!

OTHS Boys taking on ELLs for a little Quarter-Final Basketball at the Cross Insurance Center - OTHS gave us all a Valentines Gift by pulling off the upset with a 47 - 34 W moving onto Semi-Final action on Wednesday, Feb 19th at 7:00 PM - Way to go boys!


OTHS Girls Basketball at the Cross playing JB in the Quarter-Final game - Not the outcome the team set out for as they fell 59-56 to JB and the 24-25 season comes to a close. Thank you fans, thank you community, and most of all thank you Players and Coaches for the season.
