LMS Soccer teams played host to Troy Howard out of Belfast this afternoon. The girls got things started but couldn't seem to find their flow, losing 5-0. The boys team battled back from a 2-1 deficit at half time thanks to a penalty kick by Jack Horton followed by a great goal by Keagan Benson to take the lead with only minutes remaining! Unfortunately, with only seconds left, Troy Howard found the back of the net, ending the game in a 3-3 tie. Great job tonight by both teams!

Final trip across the river and through the woods to our neighbors Orono - Our girls traveled to play some Soccer ⚽️ - help from a bunch of friends - 🥅 Goals scored by Taylor(2), Lucy, Karina(2), Liv L and assists: Liv L(4), Taylor with Saves: Olivia K (8) 🥅 - all lead to a 6-2 W - JV battled to a 2-0 loss as they work to get healthy and happy - To the County we go!

LMS Field Hockey hit the road for a game in Belfast this afternoon. The girls held their own but fell to a talented Troy Howard team 2-0. Luckily a Big Mac and a McFlurry are quick to lift the spirits. We'll be keeping a close eye on the weather for tomorrow's home game vs Bangor, so stay tuned for updates.

LMS Football was back at in action at home tonight vs. Warsaw. Although the result wasn't what we were hoping for (36-18 L) there were still plenty of positive moments and things to work on. Next week the team stays close to home at Orono on Tuesday.



LMS soccer teams finally got to play on home soil as they played host to Nokomis this afternoon. The girls showed great team play that lead to a 2-1 win! The boys had a great first half with many goal scoring opportunities, but lost steam in the second half, losing 5-1. Shout out to OTHS grad, Bella Damboise on the whistle today! Teams are back in action at home on Wednesday.





Events for the Week of Sept 22

Wow, a full day of Soccer ⚽️ for the Coyotes hosting Ellsworth 🦅 at Victory - JV Girls first with a thrilling game ending 1-1 with a goal from Sofia Silva at the 48 minute mark - Varsity Girls came out swinging with a 6-1 W with a hat trick from Liv Lizzotte, Karina with 2, and Taylor Madden with 1 - Karina, Liv, and Taylor all had assists - JV boys battled to a 7-3 L but Mason C. Had 2 and Evan R. had 1 - Varsity boys worked hard but again fell short with a 8-0 L to the Eagles....




The OTHS Cross Country teams were in action today at the PVC/KVAC Crossover Meet at Saxl Park in Bangor, which included strong Class A schools Bangor, Camden-Hills and Hampden. The girls team recorded a strong 4th place finish in the eleven team meet with Liz Preble finishing 15th with a 5k personal best time of 22:39, followed by Lily Heitmann in 18th (23:16), Chloe Henry in 20th (23:20), Linzy Heitmann in 23rd (23:28) and Izzy Howard in 31st (24:39). Individually for the boys, Alex Roach had a strong run, finishing 12th with a 5k personal best time of 18:28, while CJ Yanush had a good run as well, finishing 23rd with a season best time of 19:39. The teams are at home next Saturday hosting the 75th Sectional XC Invitational.



LMS Cross Country didn't have to travel far for their second meet of the season at Indian Island yesterday. Individual results are as follows: Alden Kanoti 42nd, Ben Lundstrom 30th, Lucas Doty 29th, Danny Pellitier 25th, RJ Meigs-McDonald 21st, Vance Carlson 19th, Derek Curtis 15th, Connor Wilson 8th, Aiden Sockbeson 6th, Irvin Bathelder 3rd, andStevie Cormier 2nd. Chloe Lane 37th, Gabby Layman 33rd, Ameila Bonawitz 30th, Zoe Umphrey 21st and Heid Carlson 9th. The girls finished 4th overall and boys came in 2nd! Great job team!

OTFH 🏑 playing host to the Dexter Tigers at Victory Fields - the girls came out strong and worked to a 2-0 shut out of the tigers fueled by a 2nd Quarter Lindsay Mockler goal and 4th quarter Meredith Cyr goal, assisted by Phoebe Yerxa - Arabel Milligan with the shutout between the pipes as well - JV fought hard with a 7v7 2 quarter game falling to 2-1 L




LMS boys and girls soccer teams made the journey over to Hampden for a couple games vs. Reeds Brook today. The boys faced a tough Rebels team falling 5-0. The girls had a battle of the defenses with neither team finding the back of the net until last 10 minutes of the game when Reeds Brook was able to punch one in. Girls lose 1-0. Teams are back in action for their first home games of the season Monday vs. Nokomis.

LMS field hockey added another W to their record this afternoon. The team rolled past Hermon 5-0! Next up is a big trip to Belfast on Wednesday.


OT XC team is asking for help! The XC team has a drop-off bottle drive running through the end of our season (Nov 3rd). Bottles should be dropped off at the Bradley Redemption Center, and let them know they are for Old Town High School Cross Country, they can also drop them off at 33 Jefferson Street and a team member will take them to the Bradley Redemption! LMS Football played on the road in Ellsworth this afternoon. The team's hard work is paying off as they rolled to a 21-13 victory and moves to 2-0 on the season! Warsaw comes to town next week.

LMS soccer teams traveled to Bangor to today to take on the Bulldogs of Doughty. Unfortunately for our Coyotes, both team are coming home with a loss. Boys 5-0, Girls 3-0. Teams will regroup for Reeds Brook on Thursday.
