
LMS Baseball was back in action yesterday afternoon vs. Brewer. Although they did not get the result they wanted, they kept fighting putting up 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th to finish with a 14-7 loss. Both Baseball and Softball teams travel to Reeds Brook on Wednesday.


Only team in action today for the Coyotes 🎾 Boys Tennis 🎾 v. PI for the quarterfinal match at OT Community Courts - Boys prevail with a 5-0 W and move on to play F.A. - working on the details for this match, will update when those are set!

The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams traveled to Caribou on Friday afternoon and into the evening for the PVC Large School Championship Meet. The girls team continued their season with another strong performance, finishing 3rd behind only Class A powers Bangor and Hampden, moving their overall record to 34-4. Leading the way for the girls were Lucy Veilleux with a 1st in Long Jump, increasing her school record to 18'-1.25", and a 2nd in Triple Jump, Olivia Lizzotte 1st in Javelin with a personal best, Ely Briggs first in High Jump and Oliva Ketch with 3rd place finishes and personal bests in the Shot Put & Discus. Also placing individually for the girls were Linzy Heitmann 3rd in Racewalk with a personal best, Emma Mushero 4th in Racewalk, Lily Rand 4th in Javelin, Kylee Murray 6th in Javelin and Taylor Loring 6th in the 800, while the 4x800 Relay team of Lexi Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Loring finished 2nd, and the 4x100 Relay team of Lizzotte, Libby Saucier, Mikayla Johnston & Veilleux and the 4x400 Relay team of Olivia Barthelemy, Johnston, Saucier & Loring both finished 4th. For the boys team, who finished 10th, Hayna Francis in Long Jump and Noah Briggs in Triple Jump both finished 6th and the 4x400 Relay team of CJ Yanush, Max Ramos, Marcus Cote & Francis and the 4x800 Relay team of Ramos, Alex Roach, Mason Choiniere & Francis both finished 6th as well. Next week, the teams have the Freshmen Championship Meet in Hampden on Tuesday and the Class B State Championship Meet down in Freeport on Saturday.

LMS Baseball and Softball teams traveled to Bangor last night to square off against the Doughty Bulldogs. The baseball team played well but ended with a 15-13 loss. The Softball team, playing in their second game in a row, mustered a great 11-10 victory! Baseball team plays home on Monday vs. Brewer.


Some fun action at Victory Fields for the JV Baseball/Softball teams v. ELLs - ⚾️ Baseball dropping its 3rd game of the year with a 5-3L, but Softball 🥎 walked away with a solid 20-9W - A little break for the teams as they prepare for next weeks games...

LMS Softball hosted Brewer at the Oak Street field yesterday afternoon. Although the they did not get the result they were hoping for, the team stayed positive and played hard till end. Shout out to Coach Milligan and the Varsity softball girls for your support!


A couple of JV Games away today as the 🥎 Softball team traveled to Bucksport to seek revenge on the Golden Bucks - that will have to wait for another game as the fell 10-0L - ⚾️ Baseball traveled to H.A. for a competitive game that saw all 7 Innings and another Coyote W 7-6 and moving 7-2 on the season.... Short turnaround as Ellsworth comes into town tomorrow.

Girls individual top 6 finishers were Ruby Whitmore 1st in the 300 Hurdles & 2nd in Long Jump, Natalee Underwood 1st in the Racewalk with a personal best time and Maddie Moore 1st in Pole Vault. The girls 4x100 Relay team of Haley Moores, Underwood, Skyelar Morgan & Raykesha Quinones finished 3rd, and the girls also had individual personal best performances from Morgan in the 200 & Shot Put, Quinones in Long Jump and Brenna Jones in Javelin. The boys received individual top 6 finishes from Hunter Stoup 1st in Triple Jump with a personal best & tied 4th in High Jump with a personal best, Marcus Cote 2nd in Triple Jump & 4th in the 400, Josh Wolfertz 3rd in Discus with a personal best & 4th in Shot Put, Chase Dodge 3rd in Triple Jump & 5th in Javelin, Evan Reardon 3rd in Long Jump and Sian Barrera 5th in Discus with a personal best, while the 4x100 Relay team of Dodge, Donovan Davis, Kason Goplerud & Reardon finished 4th. Also for the boys with individual personal bests were Ethan Jones in Javelin, Will Chapman in Javelin, Koston Hurley in Shot Put and Barrera in Javelin.


A little Tuesday afternoon ⚾️/ 🥎 action this afternoon for the Coyotes as we adapt to fit a game in before night events - MDI in town to challenge the Coyotes, Softball 🥎 made quick work of the Trojans 13-2, while Baseball ⚾️ had to take it to the 8th, but lost 3-2L 🏟️

community, and support for our Fournier crew as they Strike Out Cancer - The softball gods shined bright as we saw 2 Seniors (Wheeler and Brasslett) go yard, followed by little Miss Fournier herself hit one out - Pure Magic 🪄- Yotes take game 1 and 2 - 10-5W & 8-0W - OTHS Athletics would like to thank Christa, Amara, Ava, and Emily for the year of service and dedication to our programs and best of luck in the future! Some Senior Day Double-Header action at Victory Fields today as the Coyote Baseball ⚾️ team welcomed our friends from the North to Victory Fields - Game 1 saw solid hitting and pitching from the team in a 8-0W - After some pizza and a break, Game 2 kicked off with some solid offense and defense from the Yotes that earned a 4-0W - team moves to 7-5 on the season and welcomes MDI tomorrow at 1 PM - Senior Photos and Game photos will be available from 207 Photo - OTHS Athletics would like to say thank you to our core Senior group, Alex, Liam, Nate, and Michael we wish you the best in the future and thank you for your time with the program!



Due to the field conditions and hoping tomorrow brings some Sun ☀️- we are backing the start times of tomorrows softball 🥎 and baseball ⚾️ games to 3/6 PM - ⚾️ Senior presentation will be 2:45 PM 🥎 will be directly following the end of the 1st Softball game - We will have a national anthem at close to 3 PM, so both games will need to start at 3 PM


For the boys, Noah Briggs 1st in High Juml & 3rd in Triple Jump, Sam Cote 1st in Discus & 4th in High Jump and Austin King 3rd in both the 100 & 200 led the way, while CJ Yanush was 2nd in the 300 Hurdles, Joey Porter was 4th in both the Shot Put & Discus, Logan Dodge was 5th in the 200, Tyler Michaud was 5th in Triple Jump, Hunter Stoup was tied 5th in High Jump, Hayna Francis was 6th in the 800 and Tommy King was 6th in the 100. In the relays for the boys, the 4x100 team of Chase Dodge, Mackinnon Speed, Logan Dodge & Austin King finished 2nd and the 4x400 team of Max Ramos, Marcus Cote, Tommy King & Francis finished 3rd.
The teams would also like to thank our 17 seniors for their dedication and commitment to the Outdoor Track program.
Championship season begins next week with the PVC JV Championship Meet on Tuesday in Brewer and the PVC Large School Championship Meet on Friday afternoon at Caribou High School.
