Special night for our Senior members and their families - We thank them for the years involved with our program and paving the way for future Yotes on the court! 🥎 and ⚾️ playing host tonight to FA today - Softball with a 9-0 W - Emily wheeler had an inside the park home run. Saige Evans hit for the cycle, finishing with a 3 run homer in the 6th. Every player had at least one hit. Emma Crews stuck out 11 giving up only one hit - Baseball with a 9-5 W with a P. Vose bomb 💣 in the 4th to tie and Vose, Thibodeau, and Gifford adding to the go-ahead runs in the 6th…

OTHS Events for May 16th Week


The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams were on the road in a 5 team meet at MDI today with both teams finishing second to the host team. The girls team got individual first place finishes from Grace Willey in the 100 Hurdles and High Jump, Kilee Bradeen in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, Kayleigh Johnston in the 400, Dominique Reinzo in the Javelin, Chelsey Cote in the Shot Put, Ari Murray in the Racewalk and the 4x800 Relay of Cassidy Rackliffe, Zoe Yerxa, Ashley Talcove and Annie Roach. For the boys Corbin Flewelling in the Long Jump and High Jump, Spencer Gordon in the 1600, Philip Alyokhin in the 400 and the 4x400 Relay of Alyokhin, Griffin Murray, Wyatt Byther and Gordon recorded individual first place finishes as well. The teams are back home next week for their final regular season meet.

JV Baseball ending a 3 game series tonight with Bangor - boys came out to play with a 16-6 win, Lost 8-3 @ ELLs, and won 17-3 @ JB on Tuesday…. Finishing 2-1 for the 3 game series!


Coyotes continuing on the road and this time found the Crusaders - Baseball ⚾️ at Husson and coming away with a 2-0 win…. Softball 🥎 continues the win streak with a 9-2 win tonight…. Bangor coming on Friday!


The Coyote Battalion welcomed its 21st Commander Tuesday, May 10th during the annual Change of Command Ceremony. Responsibility of the Battalion transferred from Max Chapman to Keeara Dutton. In addition to his academics, athletics, and other various community activities, Max has spent four years in JROTC, serving the last year as the Cadet Battalion Commander. He has been an critical part of the Battalion’s success these last four years. Max will attend the University of Maine to pursue his post-secondary education. Keeara Dutton spent the last year as the Battalion’s Command Sergeant Major. She brings three year’s of JROTC experience to the Command, and has been an active member of all the units extracurricular teams.

Tennis 🎾 went in a different direction to Pony-ville- Boys lost a close one 3-2, Girls lost 5-0 to F.A. - Little break till Friday for the Coyotes, hosting WA


Yote Baseball/Softball starting the road run for the next couple weeks - Ellsworth up first, Baseball lost 9-2, but Softball knocked off the undefeated Eagles with a 4-3 win… Crusaders up next!


Week of May 9th events


The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams were at home today hosting five other schools. The girls team finishing second behind Bangor recorded individual victories from Grace Willey in the 100M Hurdles, 300M Hurdles and Long Jump, Chelsey Cote in the Shot Put and the 4x800 Relay with Cassidy Rackliffe, Zoe Yerxa, Ashley Talcove and Annie Roach on the way to a second place finish behind Bangor. The boys team also finished up in second place behind Bangor and were led by Corbin Flewelling with wins in the High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump and had two wins each from James Cote in the 110M and 300M Hurdles and Spencer Gordon in the 1600M and 3200M Runs. And the 4x100 Relay of James Cote, Jorden Cote, Hayna Francis and Flewelling finished first as well. The teams are back in action next Friday at MDI.


JV Baseball ⚾️ in action today v. Orono at Victory Fields - Boys played strong against the cross town rivals - winning in shortened innings 11-1 - three day series next week for the team….


Tennis 🎾 Hosting the Hawks in a makeup match today. Hawks win 4-1 over the boys and Hawks beat the Yotes 3-2 in Girls matches…. Good luck to the round of 52 singles that are playing tomorrow


Cross town friends came to play at the diamonds today at OTHS - Yote Softball 🥎 with a 5-1 Winnnnnn over Orono! And Coyote Baseball with a 8-1 win over Orono with Gabester getting his 100th strikeout in his High School career!
