Join us TONIGHT, Thursday, April 13th from 6-7pm as our 5th graders will battle OTES staff on the basketball court! Students and their families from all grades are invited, admission is free, but there will be a raffle and concession stand. All proceeds will benefit this year's 5th grade celebration. Come out for a night of fun and to support a great cause!

From the Art Studio: Fourth grade students Levi and Piper have been learning about Maine in their classroom. Inspired by all things Maine, they decided to recreate these Moxie soda cans out of paper towel rolls.

Given the improved weather, after school groups have been able to venture outside into the University Forest.

The RSU #34 Resource Center, located at OTES, is open tomorrow, Thursday, April 6th from 2:30-4:00pm for any district families in need of food or household supplies.
A reminder that student March Madness calendars are due no later than this Monday, April 3rd. Please have your student complete their form and get adult initials for each activity they completed. Any calendars turned in with be entered into a drawing for bikes and other great prizes!
Mrs. Miller's 5th graders started their fantasy genre book unit by enjoying a preview of the books along with some Starbucks inspired drinks and decor. What a great way to get excited about reading!

We wore our pjs, snuggled on blankets with friends and family, listened to stories, sung, danced, ate popcorn, and picked out brand new books to take home. What a story time it was! Thank you to all the staff and families who participated!
OTES Bedtime Story Hour for families grades PreK to 2nd is tomorrow night, Tuesday, March 28 from 6:00-7:00. There will be stories, music, snacks, and free books! Come to the cafeteria dressed in cozy pjs with a stuffy and blanket to sit on. Younger and older siblings are welcome!

The focus of our 4th grade social studies (and beyond) curriculum is the State of Maine. On Wednesday, these classes celebrated Maine's 203rd birthday by dressing up in Maine themed outfits, enjoying whoopie pies, meeting Box of Maine founder and owner Dan Finnemore, and much more. We have partnered with Box of Maine have monthly deliveries of Maine products to enhance our students' learning. What a fun day! Happy Birthday Maine!
