Happy Tuesday Coyote Nation.
Yesterday, I texted a few of my staff members to see how they are relaxing and enjoying February break.
Here is what I found:
Mrs. Parker is visiting relatives in Florida. She is not shoveling snow, but she will when she gets home.
(We won't tell her for now) Shhhhh...
Mr. Curtis is spending time with his karate dojo.
Mr. Ploch is prepping OT Swim for states.
Mr. Myers is in New York City with his wife.
Ms. Davis is home with Stella, the only dog with her own Instagrrrrr (?)
Colonel Szewc is at school, working with cadets on the shooting range.
Sgt Peaslee (and Szewc) took a course already this week.
Mrs. Culina is working out.
Buen Trabajo!
Mrs. Woodard is at school prepping for next week.
Mr. Simpson and Mr. K are chatting about social studies curriculum.
We all have our own unique ways to enjoy time off.
How are YOU spending your February vacation?
Go Coyotes!

OK Coyote Nation - it is time for our first installment of "Where are they now?"
Look who I ran into today at the Class B State Track Meet at Bates College....
Old Town High School alumna from the Class of 2022 - Chelsey Cote.
Chelsey is attending Thomas College, majoring in Education and doing incredibly well. She is on the track team and recently made the President's List with a 3.94 GPA.
Chelsey mentioned Mr. May & Mrs. Turner for being at least partially responsible for her decision to major in Education.
Great Job Chelsey! It was great to see you. We are super proud of you!
Go Coyotes!

The Old Town High School Pep Band getting it done during basketball tournament action yesterday. You can see the pep band, cheerleaders, and two outstanding basketball teams on Wednesday afternoon at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
Both teams play to advance to the Class B North Finals.
Go Coyotes!

Lots of OT staff cheering on the green & white to
two terrific wins today!
Go Coyotes!

The Old Town Jazz Band continues their dominance. They received (2) 98 scores out of 100 at the District V Jazz Festival on Thursday afternoon.
Outstanding soloists:
Joey Porter - Alto sax
Gabe Curtis - trombone
Morgan Davis - trumpet
Aiden Palmer - bass
OT has qualified for the State Jazz Festival on March 18th at Hampden Academy.
Hard work pays off!

It's Throwback Thursday!
How many of these faces can you identify?
Hint: they once roamed the halls as students, and now they STILL roam the halls as OTHS staff members.

We have some amazing artists at Old Town High School.
Check these out!
