
The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams turned in strong performances tonight, which led to both teams finishing in 3rd place in the team results at the PVC-EMITL Large School Championship Meet at the UMaine New Balance Fieldhouse. Leading the way for the girls was junior Grace Willey, who finished first in the Long Jump and High Jump and was second in the Hurdles. For the boys, junior James Cote finished first in the Hurdles and junior Corbin Flewelling captured the Performer of the Meet Award for his victories in the High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump!
Next up is the Class B State Championship Meet on Monday Feb. 21st at USM in Gorham.



OT Wrestling at the Class B state regionals at Belfast: Sam C finished in 2nd place, Kloee M finished in 4th place, Both heading to states next weekend in Bath. Great job by Isaac T going 2-2, Xander D. going 1-2, Keane B going 1-2.



OT Cheer Wrapped up the Season with a 9th place finish at states today… This was a great effort for the squad in a very competitive class B league!

Coyotes playing host to our Northern Friends the Shiretowners - Houlton came in strong v. Varsity Boys with a 59-47 W, Girls Varsity closed the night with a huge 59-34 win for the Yotes - Information on Sweet 16 games to come soon!

Unified Basketball 🏀 (aka Mr. B Favorite Sport) opened the season today as they welcomed the Riots to Mackenzie Gym - Yotes walked away with a 88-61 W for the opening of the season! Great to have this sport back in Mackenzie…

Events for the Feb. 7th Week


OT Cheer in action at the Regional Championship at Stearns HS - this was a rescheduled event - Girls had a good showing in a competitive group - finishing 6th on the day and moving on to states!

Leading the way again for the girls were junior Grace Willey with individual wins in the Hurdles and High Jump and senior Chelsey Cote with a win in the Shot Put. For the boys, junior Corbin Flewelling with individual wins in the High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump and junior James Cote with a win in the Hurdles lead the way. Next up is the PVC Large School Championship Meet next Saturday night back at UMaine.


OT Wrestling at the PVC Championship at FA - Sam C. was 2-1 and made the podium for 2nd place, Isaac T was 2-2, Kloee M was 0-2, and Keane B. was 0-2 on the day. Regionals are next!
