Tonight at Victory Field we take an opportunity to celebrate the history, our teams, and most important our community. JROTC and OTHS Athletics present the re-dedication and 100 year celebration of Victory Field - We will also celebrate the 2021 Baseball State Champs with their Ring Presentation. The National Guard will be on hand with multiple static displays and educational materials for the community. Girls Soccer is the highlighted event at 4/6 PM games - Celebration will be before and during halftime of the Varsity Game - 92.9 will be on hand for play by play and live streaming!
Varsity beat MDI 2-1. MDI scored within the first 10 minutes of the game. The coyotes came back strong, Cassidy R. scored off an Ashley T. cross to tie it 1-1 before halftime. Half way through the 2nd half Kayleigh J. scored on a low ball to the goal, just passed the MDI goalie. Danica B. had 8 saves on 9 shots in goal.
Another night, another game with a "Hatty" (full disclosure, this is the teams term for a hat trick) - OTFH with the big win tonight against cross town down riva rivals Orono - 5-1 W for the yotes with Lexi T starting the scoring and Kilee B finishing with a "Hatty + 1"
Another update - the 71st Running of the OT XC invitational will be run on Monday, Sept. 27th due to weather predicted - JV race at 3:30 PM - Girls Varsity 4:15 PM - Boys Varsity 4:55 PM

Hatties Galore today as OTFH hosted cross town power house Bangor - Maddy A lead the way for the Coyotes with the 1st of 2 hat trick in the games v. Bangor - Yotes ended the game with a 8-0 W - JV game found the 2nd hat trick of the game with Kayleigh W. leading the Yotes to a 6-0 W - Next up is cross river rival Orono on Thursday - Come support your FH team!
OTHS Events for the Week
OT Girls Soccer ⚽ @ JB, varsity was 1-0 at halftime and JB scored 2 more in the 2nd half. JV played 45 hard minutes with multiple shots but nothing connected into the back of the net. The team is looking forward to the next game Friday against Orono.
Reminder - tomorrow is a Day 2 Schedule - Doors open at 8:10 AM - Working on spacing, proper hygiene, and mask-wearing to keep our school operational - Pool testing trials start this week - We are in this together Coyotes, we just need a little help from everyone at this point.

Meals will be available for OTHS students (as well as any other students enrolled in RSU 34 who are currently quarantining) to cover both Thursday and Friday. Parents need to call so that we know they are coming. (827-3908). Messages can be left and will be returned.
Update for UTC Students - we have been notified by UTC that students should not attend - their number is 207-942-5296 for virtual classroom/ question- No UTC for students on Thursday or Friday this week….

Friday Night Football on a Monday turned out excellent for the Coyotes! At home for the opener - Yotes ousted Oceanside 37-6 and move 1-1 on the season…. Next game on the road to Mount View Friday!
Athletics Sept. 13 Week
JV girls soccer won 3-0 in the county! Rhiannon B had the 1st goal off a shot outside the 18 yard mark. Ava B scored late in the 1st half off a Mikayla J. cross. Rhiannon B scored again in the 2nd half to cushion the win for the Yotes!
