Face Covering Update
Based on the recent announcement regarding the wearing of face masks at outdoor events, the following guidelines will be in place for those events overseen by the Maine Principals’ Association. Please know that these recommendations fully align with the Maine Community Sport Guidelines that have been updated.
Masks are not required for outdoor practices and competitions. Masks are recommended when 6 feet of physical distance is hard to maintain (e.g., athletes on the bench). They are also required when individuals go inside (e.g., to locker rooms, rest rooms, or on a bus).
Spectators are not required to wear a mask at outside events if they are able to maintain 6 feet of distancing.

Athletics - 4/26 Week
Girl/Boys Outdoor Track in action for the first time since 2019, opened the season today at home! The girls team had a dominating 1st place team finish, including 13 individual 1st place finishes, the boys team had a great as well with a strong 2nd place team finish.
OT Baseball ⚾️ and Softball 🥎 on the road to Ellsworth today - Both teams opening the regular season with W’s on the board - Softball with a 3-2 win, Baseball with a 8-2 win! Good opening day for the teams!
Tennis @ W.A. have been postponed - Match v. W.A. scheduled for April 22 has been postponed due to weather - makeup is TBA at this time...
OT Tennis in action yesterday v. FA - Coyotes opened up the season at home - Boys win 4-1 v. FA, Girls lost a close 3-2 v. FA

This game will be made up on Friday, May 14th at 4:30 PM (single game)
Saturday, May 15th JV BB game is now hosting Brewer at home 11 AM

This year has been tough for so many reasons, so when a chance to smile and have fun presents itself, you take it. Yesterday the Coyote All-Stars made a poor choice to challenge the world Famous Coyote Unified Basketball Team in Mackenzie Gym - Unified Basketball taught the staff a lesson with a 97-37 win - Plenty of ice was used, egos were destroyed, but fun was had - the smiles could be seen from under the masks and that my friends is what it is about! in case you missed it - https://youtu.be/9-zo9eWVg7o
