Cadets of the Coyote Battalion continued to physically challenge themselves with the next installment of the Coyote Challenge. On Nov. 6th they participated in a 5K ruck march. Cadets were given a 20-30lb rucksack and a time limit of 50 minutes to complete the task. Eight cadets took advantage of the weather and met on the Victory Field track that morning. Prior to the start of the 5K, cadets discussed a brief history of Veterans Day, and a Color Guard raised the flag at the Old Town High School Athletic Complex to honor Veterans past and present.

The Heisman Memorial Trophy is annually awarded to the most outstanding college football player in the nation. The Heisman High School Scholarship presented by Acceptance Insurance extends the Heisman prestige to our nation’s most esteemed high school seniors by recognizing and rewarding outstanding scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories not only happen on the field, but in their schools and communities. OTHS is proud to announce Tanner Evans has earned this honor and will move to the National level for evaluation.
