
Update: Currently OTHS will offer internet connection from the high school parking lot for educational purposes through our Guest network. For those that can remember, it is very much like a "drive-up" internet service.


ATTENTION OLD TOWN HIGH SCHOOL Community - Yearbook pages will be added showing what our students are doing during this time at home. If your child/ children are doing school work, virtual tours, reading, or anything else school related please take a picture of them and email it to me at christina.turner@rsu34.org


Starting Monday, March 23rd - RSU Food Service and Learning resources will be distributed via Cyr bus. Starting at 10:30 AM M-F, Food/Resource busses will start out on bus routes to dispense food/school resources to students in the RSU 34 learning community. Please be on the lookout for your bus in your community. We will also continue food distribution at OTHS campus as another distribution point.


For a point of clarity, all OTHS events or gatherings associated with the OTHS have been postponed or cancelled - this includes 8th grade registration, Military ball, all athletics, banquets, etc. More information will be presented when we have it.


The JROTC Military Ball, scheduled for March 28th is canceled. JROTC is in hope to schedule an alternate event date in May.

UTC Update - We will not have a UTC tour or UTC classes tomorrow - UTC students should report to study hall.


With the coming of school closure + to help the process of cleaning/disinfecting our buildings - We are requesting students to clean out lockers of personal belongings, we will limit access to our buildings starting Tue, Mar. 17th. All items not collected in lockers will be discarded for safety reasons.


RSU 34:: In an effort to proactively slow the spread of COVID-19, RSU #34 schools will be closed beginning Tuesday March 17th. We will continue to monitor conditions that would lead us to believe it is prudent to re-open schools and notify you immediately when we do re-open. No classes, clubs, or activities will be held, and our school buildings will be closed to the public. Again, this closure is subject to change as the situation develops and new information becomes available.

OTHS Athletics - We know that a lot of questions will come from this mornings statement from the MPA - We are working to find answers and will inform all when we have them. We will continue to be fluid, the PVC has plans and approaches, and will continue to operate in the best interest of student, staff, and families.


Do to reduction of large group meetings and student/family health/safety - We will postpone the Seniors v Faculty game at OTHS till after April break.... more info to come.


A night full of laughs and proud moments - got to spend it with OTHS finest senior academic successful athletes! Congratulations to Sydney Sheenhan, Mikaela Kenny, Gabe Talon, and Bryce Richards on representing OTHS at the PVC Scholar Athlete Banquet. (Bryce attended remotely)


According to the MPA - State Theater Competition, Band, Jazz, and Jazz Ensemble competitions have been canceled for the health and safety of all families and students.


From the MPA and Special Olympics Maine - Unified Sports are suspended until the end of March - this means all events and matches - we will look to schedule or finish the season when we resume competition for our Unified players/partners when advised.


Well, Well, Well - I guess it is time to show some students that the old people can ball - but really, come out and support a great cause and help out a fellow OTHS Community/Alumni Member!


Juniors and Seniors - Want to save money on your prom tickets? Help us out with the Krispy Kreme Fundraiser. Juniors and seniors who sell 5 dozen doughnuts will save $5 off the price of a singles ticket (Normally $25).
Doughnuts are $10 per dozen. Money and orders are due by 3/25 and Doughnuts will be delivered 4/1. See Mrs. Madden in the office for more information.

A season to remember came to an end today. OTO ran into a tough/talented Greely team and earned a Class B State Runner-up honors - This team and the coaches should be proud of the accomplishments of this season and thank you Seniors for a heck of a run at a championship!


Put this on your calendar!! Unified basketball showcase at the Pit!! If you haven’t seen this before, you need to come to this event. It’s the best thing going in high school sports.


Well Folks - in case you have not heard - OTO pulled it off again against a very talented PI team - OTO 6 - 2 PI - OTO will play at 1 PM at the Colisee for the Class B state title! Team Coach bus will leave at 9:30 am from OT/9:45 from OH


Unified Basketball 🏀 at Mackenzie Gym v. MA/PVHC - Second home game for the Yotes and a great showing for all.... Unified back in action against ELL on Monday, 3/9 at 3:30PM.... pictures on my helpers as we try to get a scoreboard... best table crew in the business!
