
Week of May 9th events


The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams were at home today hosting five other schools. The girls team finishing second behind Bangor recorded individual victories from Grace Willey in the 100M Hurdles, 300M Hurdles and Long Jump, Chelsey Cote in the Shot Put and the 4x800 Relay with Cassidy Rackliffe, Zoe Yerxa, Ashley Talcove and Annie Roach on the way to a second place finish behind Bangor. The boys team also finished up in second place behind Bangor and were led by Corbin Flewelling with wins in the High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump and had two wins each from James Cote in the 110M and 300M Hurdles and Spencer Gordon in the 1600M and 3200M Runs. And the 4x100 Relay of James Cote, Jorden Cote, Hayna Francis and Flewelling finished first as well. The teams are back in action next Friday at MDI.


JV Baseball ⚾️ in action today v. Orono at Victory Fields - Boys played strong against the cross town rivals - winning in shortened innings 11-1 - three day series next week for the team….


Tennis 🎾 Hosting the Hawks in a makeup match today. Hawks win 4-1 over the boys and Hawks beat the Yotes 3-2 in Girls matches…. Good luck to the round of 52 singles that are playing tomorrow


Cross town friends came to play at the diamonds today at OTHS - Yote Softball 🥎 with a 5-1 Winnnnnn over Orono! And Coyote Baseball with a 8-1 win over Orono with Gabester getting his 100th strikeout in his High School career!

Couple of games tonight as the Coyotes played host to the Hawks at a packed Victory Field complex… Baseball battled to a 7-5 loss, while Softball played strong for a 4-3 win over Hermon…. Orono in town next…


🎾 Tennis traveled a crossed the river and through the woods 🪵 last night at Orono…. Riots came out strong and beat the Coyotes 5-0 for boys and 4-1 for girls… Hawks in town later this week…


This week is Teacher/Staff Appreciation week. Please take a moment to thank a teacher in your life or anyone in education. The entire staff have worked extremely hard this year, and we appreciate all their efforts and the support that has been shown to our learning community!


The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams were on the road today in an eight team meet at Orono. The girls team turned in another strong performance finishing 2nd to a very good MDI team. Leading the way for the girls were Grace Willey with wins in the 100 Hurdles, High Jump and Long Jump, Kilee Bradeen with wins in the 100M Dash and Triple Jump and Dominque Reinzo with a win in the Javelin. The boys team ended the day in 4th place behind host Orono, Presque Isle and MDI, and were led by individual wins from James Cote in the 110 Hurdles, Jorden Cote in the 100M Dash, Spencer Gordon in the 3200M Run and Corbin Flewelling in the High Jump. The boys also got a win in the 4x100 Relay consisting of Cote, Cote, Flewelling and Philip Alyokhin. The teams are back in action at home next Saturday.


JV Baseball ⚾️ with the home opener against ELL - also first games of the season for the Yotes…. 10-6 loss for the team, but a great battle by the Coyotes!


Extra Innings today in Old Town as the Coyotes played host to Ellsworth - Softball lost 1-0 in 8-innings, Baseball lost 2-0 in 8-innings

The State of Maine is now offering free tuition to students who are attending (or will attend) the Community College System. Students who graduated between 2020 to 2023 are eligible.

Due to weather and field conditions - todays JV Baseball game v. MDI has been postponed for today, a make-up date will be coming...


Not an ideal day for Baseball/Softball home opener against MDI - Trojans Baseball with a 2 run 5th outlasted the Coyotes 3-2, While the Yote Softball team came up with big bats and solid pitching for a 9-0 win, Mother Nature needs to help us for Thursday against Bangor!


Tennis 🎾 visiting the Armstrong Center today for a match v. JB - Boys lost 5-0, Girls lost 3-2 - if Mother Nature is nice, we play again on Thursday v. Hermon
