Girls and Boys Indoor Track in action today in a nine team meet at U. Maine. The girls team recorded a strong 2nd place finish behind Brewer, while the boys team finished 3rd behind Brewer and Hermon. The teams are back on the track next week in a Relay Meet at U. Maine.


OTO home today v. The RiverHawks - teams played tough and skated well - Black Bears worked a 8-2 victory.... On the road next year to Camden - 7 PM


Basketball games canceled today in Houlton because of weather - due to lack of officials, we will play varsity only on Saturday, December 28th - GV 6 PM/ BV 7:30 PM - bus 3:15 PM


Tomorrow’s wrestling meet in Howland has been canceled due to forecasted conditions, this meet will not be made up.

Athletics Christmas Week


Results from Saturday’s wrestling meet in Caribou - S. Charles went 2-1, second place, G. Green went 3-2, 4th, X. Doty went 2-2, 4th and K. Moore was 0-2. Next meet is Friday, 12/27 at Howland!


The Girls & Boys Indoor Track finished off a very successful week for OT athletics - Track season got off to a strong start today as both teams finished 2nd in their season opening eight team meet at the University of Maine!


Boys basketball in action tonight v. Waterville Purple Panthers - the boys came to play and showed it with a 65-46 win over Waterville - the JV team continues the unbeaten record with a commanding 72-34 win - Next up is Houlton on the road Friday 12/27


OTO hockey with the first win on a tough scheduled season tonight v. Brewer - Boys came to play getting a 4-1 win... JV with an impressive 6-1 win.... Next game is home v. WW on 12/28...


Coyotes and Black Bears in the pool again tonight v. F.A. - both teams victorious tonight - OTO Girls 123 - F.A. 31/ OT Boys 83 - F.A. 38 - Kids have a bit of a break till next year @ MDI



OT Girls in action tonight v. another top team in the Big East Waterville - awesome game to watch and Mackenzie Gym was electric - Waterville squeaks a win in the last seconds, 44-42, JV played a tough game but also went away with a loss 44-41, Next up is F.A. on Monday


Great win by the OTO JV Hockey team last night v. H.A. - Great 2-1 win on the ice... next game on Saturday 21st v. Brewer HS....


Help Wanted!
This year OTHS is participating in Poetry Out Loud, a national poetry recitation contest on December 20th . We are looking for 3-4 people to help judge, tabulate, and prompt students. The contest will begin around 8:45, and will likely run through the afternoon.

OTO Hockey on the road to H.A. tonight - H.A. is ranked Second is heals - Black Bears with a late goal to tie the Broncos 2-2.... this moves the black bears to 0-2-1 on the season....


Old Town boys in action tonight against number 2 Hermon - Old Town kept it close until the end - 56-45 loss - Coyotes are ranked 11 in heals..... JV again pulling an impressive win 47-33 and continues to play an undefeated season!

Great game and great tournament atmosphere, both teams played tough, but the Lady Coyotes fell to the Hermon Hawks 62-53.... moves the girls to 5th heals - JV played a tough game and came out victorious 37-27.... next up is Waterville on Friday night!
